Hippocrates Ref. DOC 243-07 Hippocrates of Kos (around 460 B.C. 370 B.C.) is regarded as the most famous doctor of antiquity. Particularly for medical doctors the sophisticated DOCTORS Chronograph HIPPOCRATES embodies both the value of time and the aspirations of a calling. von Behring 1901 Ref. DOC 358-08 WAKE-UP TIME AND PULSOMED FUNCTION Dedicated to Emil von Behring (15. 03.1854 31.03.1917). The German researcher was honoured with the first Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1901. MASTERING MORE THAN TWO TIME ZONES The Renaissance of a mechanical automatic caliber with two time zones, date and a settable alarm wake-up time function, a helpful instrument in your profession, while travelling and across the time zones, is part of the interest, which has been re-awakened over many years in the very special fine-mechanical watch complexity from Switzerland. The DOCTORS von Behring 1901, reference 358-08, mechanical caliber DOC-59-ASJ, refined and modified by Manufacture La Joux-Perret (La Chaux-de-Fonds/Suisse), receives its visibly special function through the golden snake hand to set a date, resp. to trigger the wake-up tone of approx. 10 seconds. Below the 12 is the curved window of the second adjustable time zone, the date window is above the 6. With this multifunctional ornament the doctor also has an essential ancillary medical instrument. The PULSOMED scale runs easily visible around the centre of the open-design face. PRECISION WORK THROUGH CRAFTSMANSHIP The DOCTORS is assembled by hand by a master watchmaker, high-gloss polished and the base ring is adorned with the engraving of the edition and reference number and the inscription DEDICATED TO NOBEL PRIZE IN MEDICINE.
