The driving force behind this was Gayle Rodney s frustration with the lack of range and quality in Netball clothing. It was her commitment to finding a solution that produced the first Netball uniforms for her two daughters. It was the uniforms design, quality and fit that impressed other Netballers and their parents, so much so that orders have been rolling in ever since. With the rapid expansion of Game Clothing our expertise has extended to other sports such as all codes of Football, Cricket, Hockey and Athletics. We also offer teamwear, training and recovery gear (including compression garments). While we have grown, we have never and will never lose sight of the importance of providing high quality and customised clothing to sporting people and teams. So many other uniform manufacturers only provide a few designs in a limited number of colours, whereas in our design studio the options are endless. If you have ideas or particular patterns we can put it on a uniform for you. Otherwise we can provide you with something spectacular just based on your teams colours. Fashion, Form & Function Looking great is important. It is important that your team always looks great. What use is looking good if the uniforms don t fit well or hinder you team s performance? That s why at Game Clothing we balance the 3 F s (Fashion, Form and Function). While we offer the latest fashions and styles in sporting uniforms, we also focus on designs, cuts and materials to make sure uniforms fit well, wear well and help enhance your teams playing ability. sublimination & embroidery Sublimation Sublimated Uniforms produce an exceptional team look. Unlike in the past where different coloured panels would be sewn together, sublimation gives you the freedom to produce creative and complex designs for your team uniforms. Because of the inks we use the designs resist fading and having fewer seams mean the garments are longer lasting and will hold their shape better. To maintain our high levels of quality and creative control we handle all of your sublimation needs in house. Embroidery At Game Clothing we have our own Happy embroidery machines, that allow us to keep all our embroidery work in house. This removes the frustration of delays and quality control brought about by using an outside supplier. Not only do we embroider our own Custom Designed Sports Uniforms, but we also embroider any associated Team Gear such as Hats, Caps, Bags and Towels. materials Choosing the right materials for sporting uniforms is vital. Using quality material will mean the clothes will look great (especially when sublimated), wash easily, hold its shape and last. For the main we work with 3 types of material. 1. Sport Mesh Sports Mesh is a polyester micro-fibre material that has been specifically developed with sport in mind. The material is breathable to keep you cool, and wicks away sweat to keep you dry. It is resistant to fading, quick drying and is a perfect base for stunning sublimated designs. Sports mesh is ideal for A-Line dresses, Panelled Skirts, Polos, T-shirts, Shorts and Singlets. 2. Lycra Lycra is a well known and popular material, however the quality between them can vary greatly. Because we know that you want the uniform to hold its shape, resist pilling and last, we have chosen the best quality Lycra available on the market. It is a blend of polyester and Extra Life Lycra. We use a heavier than normal 200 gram weight Lycra for a better longer lasting uniform. Lycra is great for all-in-one dresses, body suits, bike shorts, crop tops and compression gear. netball uniforms designed for comfort, look and longevity! Netball is the most popular women s sport in Australia. With so many people playing and watching why wouldn t your team want to look their best and play at their best? We offer a range of different styles of Netball dresses from our premium range through to our basic range. All of our dresses are available with sublimated designs making them look fantastic no matter which type you choose. Sitting at the top of the tree is our stylish A-line dress with action back (maximises movement in your shoulders). This is our most popular and flattering cut of Netball dress. More comfortable and cooler than traditional bodysuits, the A-line dress is available in either moisture wicking Sports Mesh or Lycra. Second in line is the Lycra body-suit. The body suit is a modern one piece variation of the traditional singlet and skirt uniform. Made from Extra Life Lycra these dresses are figure hugging with good stretch for freedom of movement. We also design and manufacture the traditional pleated or panelled skirt and singlet. This outfit is better suited to junior teams where the players need uniforms that grow with them. While they are a more affordable option, using our sublimation process means not only will they look great but will look just like the full dresses worn by the senior teams. 3. Medium Weight Polyester Medium Weight Polyester has been developed with contact sports in mind. It is stronger than normal polyester and we use it in the manufacture of our Rugby, League and AFL Jerseys. It is heavy wearing and resistant to tearing. The material has good stretch capability for a closer fit and like sport mesh it wicks away sweat, resistant to fading and is a quick dry material. 3 4
design your dream team... in a contact sport it is really important to source clothing that is durable and comfortable Some of the most stunning and creative designs appear on basketball uniforms. You can have the same look as the professional leagues with our range of fully sublimated singlets and shorts. All of our basketball uniforms are cut and manufactured to suit the current look in basketball especially with our oversized shorts. What s more, because all of our uniforms are sublimated, team sponsors, player names and numbers can be printed directly on the garment saving time sewing or ironing them on. For the singlets you can choose either Sport Mesh or Lycra and for the shorts you can choose from a range of styles in Sport Mesh. All of our shorts have drawstring and elastic waitsbands for comfort and fit. As the codes have become faster and more skilled, so too have the uniforms. Game Clothing sublimated jerseys will ensure that your team looks its best on the day. Our hard wearing form-fitted jerseys have been developed specifically for use in contact sports. With a choice of different collars (traditional with rubber buttons or the newer round neck) and full sublimation our jerseys offer everything a Football team needs. All of our jerseys are double stitched to prevent the seams from letting go at the crucial moment and the material we use is quick drying wash & wear. We also offer the same features in a singlet form for AFL teams. To go with our jerseys we manufacture shorts that are hard wearing, fit well and provide you with the choice of either a plain short or sublimated to match the jersey. We can also part sublimate them to display a particular sponsor or design feature. We offer a range of polo shirts from the classical white with embroidery, minimally sublimated white to full sublimation for one-day competition. We design and manufacture bike shorts, shorts, crop tops and singlets. We make the crop tops and bike shorts from our long lasting Lycra and the shorts and singlets are made from the wash and wear Sports Mesh. The great thing about our training wear is its versatility. Players can use it under their netball dresses letting them change on the fly without embarrassment. Our training range is great for athletics teams as well. teamwear look like a team, play like a team With all sports increasing in speed, intensity and turnaround time, being able to train harder and back-up after a hard session is key to your ongoing performance. Compression garments not only reduces lactic acid production during exercise, it aids in recovery by breaking down lactic acid a known contributor to sore and tired muscles. Our compression products are made from Xtra Life Lycra and can be custom recovery designed with a sublimated panel to fit in with the rest of your teamwear. We know that looking like a team is as important between games or travelling, that s why we offer a range of different team clothing. Like all of our clothing you have the option sublimation or embroidery. We offer a range of tops including polo shirts, singlets, V-neck and round neck T-shirts in both male and female cuts.
