Contact a Poisons Information Centre or a doctor if condition deteriorates. Wash skin with clean running water. If irritation persists, repeat flushing and obtain medical advice. Wipe away excess product away from eyes. Immediately flush the contaminated eye(s) with flowing fresh water until the product is removed, while holding the eyelid(s) open. Rinse mouth several times with clean fresh water. If in doubt, contact a Poisons Information Centre or a doctor. DO NOT induce vomiting. Give plenty of fresh water to drink after rinsing of mouth. Advice to Doctor - Treatment is symptomatic. SECTION 5: FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Fire and Explosion Hazards: Non-combustible. Decomposes on heating emitting toxic fumes. Firefighters wear self contained breathing apparatus and suitable protective clothing if risk of exposure to decomposed product. Extinguishing Media: Not Combustible. However, use medias to suit surrounding material and packaging material, that is, for example plastic containers. Fire Fighting: When fighting fires involving significant quantities of this product, wear a splash suit complete with self contained breathing apparatus. Upper Flammability Limit: Does not burn Lower Flammability Limit: Does not burn Autoignition Temperature: Does not burn Flammability Class: Does not burn SECTION 6: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES In the event of an accidental spill, control spill at source. Slippery when spilt. Wear full protective clothing including face mask and face shield. All skin areas should be covered. Cover with absorbent material, eg sand or soil. Avoid using sawdust or other combustible material. Sweep up, wet vacuum if available, collect and seal product into labelled containers for salvage, and dispose of promptly at approved site. SECTION 7: HANDLING AND STORAGE Handle with care and keep exposure to this product to as minimal as practical. Ensure adequate ventilation while handling product. Store in closed original container in a well ventilated shaded area. Keep container tightly closed when not in use. Keep container out of reach of children. Emergency eye wash facilities should be available where this product is being handled in large quantities. Prevent skin contact by wearing impervious gloves, clothes and, preferably, overalls. Ensure all skin areas are covered when handling large quantities. No real issues here as aqueous formulation. SECTION 9: PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES Physical Description and Colour: Liquid, brown liquid Odour: earthy odour Density: 50mg/100ml. Water Solubility: Soluble in water. ph: Approx 6.8 7.6 Volatility: No data. Autoignition temp: Does not combust. SECTION 10: STABILITY AND REACTIVITY Chemical Stability: Stable under normal temperatures. Reactivity: This product is unlikely to react or decompose under normal storage conditions. Conditions to Avoid: Direct sunlight, lack of ventilation. Hazardous Polymerization: Hazardous polymerisation is not possible. SECTION 11: TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION No adverse health effects would be expected if handled according to the label and this MSDS. Symptoms or effects that may arise if mishandled or with unprotected overexposure maybe; Skin contact : May result in mild irritation with sensitive skin.
