The following guidance provides clarification of not only the items that must be worn but also the spirit within which they should be worn, based on principles of sound health, safety and security. School Uniform A student must be wearing at least one item that displays the school crest. These can be: The crested jumper only The blazer with a plain black/dark blue jumper The crested jumper and the blazer
School Uniform - Examples
Shoes - Plain Black Footwear When you choose shoes, remember that they need to protect your child from rain and from risk of injury, especially in labs, technology rooms and food rooms as well the playground. The school cannot be held responsible if your child is injured because their shoes have not protected them. Patterns, logos, white soles and stripes are not acceptable, because they are not black.
Prohibited Items No other jackets or cardigans, only blue or black plain jackets Hoodies or visible logos No headphones No shawls No basketball caps In school means everywhere on the school site (once you have entered the gates) so these items cannot be worn during lessons, breaks and lunchtimes anywhere in school.
