Tartan Registration - we are happy to register your tartan with National Archive's Scottish Register of Tartans. If your tartan meets the criteria for registration it will be included on the Register and a certificate of sent out to you. The registration process normall takes 4-5 weeks. Special Weaves - the manufacturing process makes it impossible to weave exact finished lengths. The Company reserves the right to deliver + or - 15% of any quantity ordered. Where a specific minimum length is required, this should be advised. Carriage 100.00 Standard Service within the U.K - this service normally takes 2-3 days, depending upon area Next Day Service within the U.K - by 12.00 Noon. - delivery with this service is normally by 12.00. Our Returns Procedure If you wish to return goods to us for any reason, please contact our sales team to discuss this and to receive a Returns Number. We will not agree to the return of goods more than 30 days after invoice, nor shall we agree to the return of fabric unless it is a useable kilt length. In all cases, a handling charge will be imposed. Credit Card Payments We regret that due to the ever increasing burden of bank charges, we now make a charge for settlement by Credit and Debit Card. PRICES * All prices exclude VAT and we reserve the right to vary prices without notice. * Any quotations, written or verbal, are valid for 30 days. RESERVATIONS * Stock fabric may be reserved for up to seven days, although this may be extended with our agreement. DELIVERY & INSPECTION * Delivery dates quoted are an estimate only. * Goods must be carefully inspected before processing. You must ensure that any third party has sufficient information to inspect the goods, prior to processing on your behalf. * If you notice a damage, defect or shortage in the goods purchased, you must notify us in writing within seven days and before you have processed or cut the goods in any way. * All goods are invoiced by us on the date of despatch. If you have not received the goods within seven days of the date of the invoice, you must advise us immediately. * When delivery to the address supplied is not possible, all costs incurred by us will be for your account. RETURNS * Returns due to damage, defect or shortage will not be accepted unless we have been notified in writing within seven days of invoice, and prior to any cutting or processing. * Returns outwith the seven day period may be accepted at the Company's discretion, but subject to the following conditions: - The goods must not be processed, cut or tampered with in any way; - If the goods are cut fabric, we will not agree to accept a return where the quantity is shorter than a usable kilt - The request for return is made within 30 days of invoice; - Our prior written agreement and a Returns Number has been received; - The Returns Number must be clearly marked on the returned parcel; - A handling charge on the goods value will apply. CONTINUITY & MATCHING * Because of the manufacturing process, we cannot guarantee continuity of shade or sizing of pattern repeats. If this is is a concern for you, we are happy to provide a stock cutting of pieces currently held in stock, or to advise you of actual repeat sizes. Where a stock cutting has been supplied, please quote the reference number when subsequently placing or confirming your order. * Repeat sizes quoted on our pattern books, are for guidance only.
