INTRODUCING GENENCARETM OSMS Water is at the very heart of life on earth, and nature has developed some incredible strategies for retaining moisture. From the depths of the planet s oceans, through the scorching heat of the desert, to the cells in our own bodies, maintaining the right water balance is essential and osmolytes are nature s key to locking in vital moisture. Third-party research institute Sensory Spectrum tested an emulsion containing 4% GENENCARE OSMS against a formulation containing a comparable amount of glycerin and a formulation containing a 50:50 mix of 2% GENENCARE OSMS and 2% glycerin. The results show that the addition of betaine delivers a greater thickness and spreadability, whereas the addition of glycerin reduces the spreadability. This effect is even stronger with the mix of 2% GENENCARE OSMS BA with 2% glycerin.
