Safety Angel Instruction I Introduction Safety Angel is composed of the Base Unit and the Bracelet that can be used as a water immersion alarm and anti-lost alarm. II Description III Operation 1. Activate Safety Angel Connect the DC Adapter (Indoor use) to a right power socket or put 4 AAA batteries (Outdoor use) in the back case of the Base Unit; turn the On-Off button to On (LED B indicates green), the Base Unit is on. Put the Bracelet (Sender s back) on the Bracelet Switch, the LED C will twinkle one time, the Bracelet is on. (When the Bracelet is on, the LED C will twinkle per 7-10 seconds.)
When both units are turned on, they will take several seconds to become a suited couple. Base Unit will Beep one time before they become a couple. (You have 20 seconds to match them.) Safety Angel may not be activited if the Bracelet battery is under low battery. (ref. IV 2) After Safety Angel is activited, LED B will flash green per 12 seconds to indicate it s working normally. 2. Attach the Bracelet comfortably and securely to the child s wrist. Use the Safety Angel key to lock the strap buckle, ensuring that the dot on the buckle are nearly lined up and that Bracelet cannot slip over the child s hand. Note: when threading the strap into the buckle, the four dots on the buckle need to be right-angle. (ref. following picture) Now Safety Angel is working normally. 3. Adjust the distance of Anti-Lost alarm: Push the side Distance Wheel, you can get three different distances of anti-lost alarm, Near-Middle-Far. Safety Angel will sound alarm if the Bracelet leaves a corresponding distance you preset.
1) Near about 10-20 meters: Push the Distance Wheel to the top when you hear a beep; 2) Middle about 20-40 meters: Just push the Distance Wheel away from top or bottomr when you hear a beep; 3) Far about 40-60 meters: Push the Distance Wheel to the bottom when you hear a beep. Note: the anti-drowning alarm distance is always about 50 meters, it s not changed with the anti-lost alarm distance. IV Notices 1. Base Unit low battery alarm: If using 4 AAA batteries as power, the Base Unit has a low battery alarm. Once 4 AAA battery is running low, the Base Unit will sound Di DI Di, at the same time LED B will flash red. Safety Angel CAN NOT be used again, please change the battery. 2. Bracelet low battery alarm: Once the battery of Bracelet is running low, the LED C on the Bracelet will be always ON (Red). Safety Angel CAN NOT be used again, please recharge the Bracelet. 3. One Base Unit can work with two Bracelets. Each Safety Angel is a couple, if another family is using another Safety Angel near by, both Safety Angel won t interfere. 4. To stop the alarm, just press Reset button. To turn off the Base Unit, just dial the On-Off button to Off. If you don t use Safety Angel for a long time, please take off the 4 AAA batteries from the Base Unit. Carefully put the battery in a safe place. To turn off the Bracelet, just put the Bracelet (Sender) on the Bracelet Switch again, the LED C will twinkle continuously several times. After that, it s off. Always remember to turn off the Bracelet if you don't use it, otherwise its power will consume fastly. 5. With the long strap Bracelet, Safety Angel can also be used as a pet safety alarm. 6. Statement: This device is not intended to replace any other safety consideration, like adult supervision, lifeguards etc. The water immersion distance 50 meters and anti-lost distance (adjustable Near-Middle-Far) is not accurate, some complicated circumstance and disturbing signals will weaken its distance and performance. V Charge Bracelet Bracelet uses rechargeable LIR2032 battery, when Bracelet gets a low battery alarm, it needs to be recharged as the following steps. A. Plug adapter, another end inserted into the Base Unit, using the Connection Line to connect Base Unit and Bracelet, then it s charged. When charging, LED A indicates red. After it s fully
charged, LED A is off. B. W/o adapter, Bracelet can be also charged by the Base Unit using its own 4 AAA battery power. (Important: this is only for emergency charge use, and it may not be fully charged if 4 AAA battery power is not enough itself.) VI General Maintenance Put Safety Angel into Safety Angel Bag, protect Safety Angel in a safe place where child can t reach. Protect from freezing or exposure to high temperatures. Do Not allow dirt, food, beverages or other material to accumulate in the space between the top and bottom of the Bracelet shells. This could impede or stop the alarm working when the Bracelet is immersed in water. Clean the Bracelet by rinsing in clean, warm (not hot) water or by wiping with a clean damp cloth ensuring it is dry before storing. Cotton tipped swabs can be used if necessary. Do Not use any knife, pen, screwdriver or any other sharp or hard tipped object. Do Not put the Bracelet in the dishwasher, washing machine or dryer or in any other household appliance or hot air dryer. Do Not attempt to open the Base Unit and Bracelet.
Use a clean damp cloth to wipe the Base Unit, it s not waterproof. Do not immerse it in water. Do not use any abrasives, alcohol, detergents, solvents or cleaning fluids on it. VII Guarantee & Service We provide 1 year guarantee for Safety Angel. Damage or the effects of misuse are not included by this guarantee. If Safety Angel needs to be replaced, take it to your dealer for disposal, do not incinerate. If you need additional Bracelet, please contact the dealer.
