Kills those nasty pet orders when used as a deodorizer, spray into the air and let settle. Animal Use: 65. An excellent insect repellent for your pet. (as recommended in numerous articles) 66. Mix 5 parts water, 1 part Skin So Soft and mist on animals. Brushing it on their coats makes it gleam and deters insects (Great for Show animals).
67. Mixing in your pet s bath water helps to remove fleas and between baths spray them with the mixture as above to help keep insects at bay. 68. Rub on your hands before and after working with your pets and farm animals. It will remove the strong smells. 69. Black Fly Spray for Dogs: Use as a spray or a dip. 1 cup Skin So Soft, 1/2 cup liquid detergent and 3 gallons of water. 70. For dog s dry skin mix 1 tablespoon of Skin So Soft per gallon of water and use as an after-bath rinse. Alternatively, spritz your pet s coat once per week. 71. Rub Skin So Soft on the pads of your dog's feet to remove tar or asphalt, wipe off with a gentle cloth. 72. Flea Bath: wash animals, rinse thoroughly, and follow with a final rinse of the mixture described in number 66. Skin So Soft helps replace the oils lost in bathing and has the added benefit of repelling insects. 73. Chow-Chow dog breed can have very dry and flaky skin. Skin So Soft helps dandruff and itchiness and make their coat shiny and smooth. It also serves as a great flea and tick protector. 74. Another Insect Repellent Recipe for Pets: 1 cup Avon Skin So Soft bath oil, 1 cup white vinegar, 1 cup (or more) water, and 5 cc of essential oil of citronella (from the health food store NOT the type you burn to keep insects away that is available in a drug store). Mix in a spray bottle. 75. Straight Skin So Soft works well for mosquitoes but makes your dog greasy. 76. For use in barns, spray a diluted mix of Avon Skin So Soft on barn walls, around doors, windows, and floor to discourage insects and eliminate them before putting in the new bedding. As time permits, and if you can keep your goats out of the barn for a few hours let the barn stand and air out before re-filling with bedding. 77. Dip a q-tip in Skin So Soft and dab behind the ears of dogs and cats to deter insects. Fleas do not like it! 78. Cats: Skin So Soft is safe for fur licking. 79. Skin So Soft can be used on pet accessories such as collars to shine them up. Uses for Horses: 82. Horses with dry skin: Wash and then put a capful of Skin So Soft in a 5gallon bucket of warm water and sponge this all over. Their hair coat dries silky soft and stops itching. 83. Use towelettes on the horse s ears and around their eyes. 84. When banding (braiding), the manes of horses use the Advance Techniques Daily Shine Dry Ends, 360 Nourishing Moroccan Argan Oil-Leave In Treatment, and/or Reconstruction 7 Damage Rehab Treatment. It seems to help hold the braids a lot better, and the horses do not try to rub them out. 85. The Advance Techniques Daily Shine Dry Ends works great in their tails as a detangler. The products are a heck of a lot cheaper than actual horse products. Automobile Uses: 86. Removes tar spots from vehicles without damage to the paint. 87. Use it to clean vinyl dashboards, seats, and tops. It not only cleans but keeps the leather or vinyl soft and supple, helps to prevent cracking. 88. After washing your vehicle, use on tires to shine them like new. 89. Put a small amount on a washcloth and leave in the car to help keep the air smelling fresh and clean. 90. Wipe down vinyl surfaces inside your vehicle. Cleans nicely and will remove smoke odors left by cigarette smoke. 91.
