WHY BULL-IT JEANS? BULL-IT JEANS OFFER THREE LINES OF PRODUCTS, ALL WITH A DIFFERENT LEVEL OF PROTECTION: To achieve CE Testing Approval the garment construction as well as the materials have to achieve performance levels, just 3 of many are; impact abrasion, cut and burst resistance. This will give you peace of mind the whole garment has been tested and all of the garment is lined with a safety protection liner, it makes the garment around 0.5 kg heavier but offers protection of the highest level. SR4 The entry level SR4 jeans use the Covec SR4 liner, these jeans are tested to and certified CE EN 13595-1 Level 1 Clause 5.4 for Abrasion resistance with 4 seconds in all relevant zones. SR6 The mid level SR6 jeans use the Covec SR6 liner, these jeans are tested to and certified CE EN 13595-1 Level 1 Clause 5.4 for Abrasion resistance with 6 seconds in all relevant zones. ONE SKIN The top level VoloCE products which use the Covec +7 liner, offering CE EN 13595-2 Level 2 protection with at least 7 seconds of protection, we tested this liner to almost 8 seconds. Bull-it jeans VoloCE range are the first approved CE EN 13595-1 LEVEL 2 jeans in the world. ABRASION RESISTANCE Bull-It Jeans come with a Covec SR4, SR6 or One Skin protective layer. Test to EN 13595 for 4, 6 and 8 seconds of abrasion resistance. CUT RESISTANCE The Covec layer in Bull-It Jeans has a cut resistance of up to three times higher than Aramid of similar weight. BURST RESISTANCE Bull-It Jeans uses triple stitching in the side seams and other important places for safety. COVEC LINING MESH LINING ARMOUR POCKETS THERMAL BARRIER Covec does not transfer heat such as nylon or UHMWPE (Dyneema) and protects you against burns. Additionally it has a micro-climate to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. PROLONGED PERFORMANCE Aramids are prone to lose strength over time through chemical reactions and wear. It can suffer from hydrolisis, yarn-on-yarn abrasion and flex fatigue of Covec are far superior.
