The plaque 18cm by 13cm Estimate: 800.00-1,200.00 Lot: 36 An unusual 19th century porcelain vase, the baluster body painted and gilded with a phoenix amidst foliage, the rim with white metal collar, raised on a reticulated foot with indistinctly stamped metal mount, gilt mark to base. 19cm Lot: 37 Four Royal Doulton limited edition character jugs, from The Great Generals Collection, comprising Eisenhower, D 6937; Gordon, D 6869; Patton, D 7026 and Duke of Wellington, D 6848. (2) First 15cm wide Literature: See Atterbury (Paul) and Batkin (Maureen), The Dictionary of Minton, pub. ACC 1990, p. 152, for a similar example described as a butter dish. Estimate: 70.00-90.00 Lot: 41 A parian figure, "La Peche", attributed to Bates, Brown- Westhead, Moore & Co, circa 1860, standing full length holding a fishing net, her left foot on a fish trap, titled rock base. 47cm Note: Almost certainly by a French sculptor working in the potteries. The figure is a reinterpretation of an earlier design when hunters were common subjects. Lot: 42 A 19th century parian figure, "Queen Elizabeth I", standing on a carpet with her right hand raised to her face and a mask in her left, on an unmarked circular base. 41.5cm Lot: 43 A Copeland parian figure, "Lurline", circa 1870, the partially draped maiden in a pensive pose leaning on a harp and sitting on a rocky outcrop with a sea serpent at her feet, impressed mark. 30cm Lot: 44 After John Gibson, a parian figure, "Venus", attributed to Copeland, circa 1850-70, standing full length with an apple in her left hand and holding her tunic, on a shaped stepped oval base, unmarked. 41cm Lot: 45 A Worcester porcelain coffee cup, circa 1770, painted in polychrome enamels with a Chinese garden scene, unmarked. 6cm Estimate: 50.00-70.00 Lot: 46 A Liverpool porcelain sauce boat, attributed to (or by) John or Jane Pennington, circa 1785-94, underglaze blue printed with a "small landscape". 16cm Literature: See Maurice Hillis, Liverpool Porcelain 1756-1804, 2011, pp. 357, 459. Lot: 60 A 1930's Shelley charger, the ribbed dish brightly hand painted in shades of orange and yellow, green printed mark. 35.5cm Lot: 61 A near pair of Doulton Lambeth stoneware candlesticks, each moulded and painted with a bands of foliage, acanthus leaf and flowerheads, raised on a circular foot, impressed and incised marks. Very slight height difference, taller 20.5cm Lot: 62 A large Royal Doulton model of a lion upon a rocky outcrop, H.N. 2641, signed and dated 6 Oct 1994 by Michael Doulton. 42cm Lot: 63 A Royal Doulton coffee service, in Art Deco style, comprising coffee pot, six cups and saucers, cream jug and sugar bowl, decorated with gilded foliate panels against a green ground, green printed marks. Coffee pot 21.5cm Lot: 64 A Continental porcelain bowl, 19th century, moulded and painted with floral sprays and scrolls, underglaze blue crossed swords; together with a set of three English porcelain plates, almost certainly Mintons, each painted with a Scottish view, titled verso, impressed ciphers. (4) Plates 23.5cm Lot: 65 A Bing & Grondahl Copenhagen porcelain group, modelled as a young woman feeding two calves, no. 2270, green and blue printed marks; together with a Royal Copenhagen model of an Airedale Terrier, no. 3139, green and blue printed marks. (2) Terrier 15.5cm high Lot: 66 A group of Royal Crown Derby Imari pattern wares, comprising table lighter, trinket dish, covered trinket box, oval cake dish and plate, each decorated to pattern no. 1128, red printed factory marks. Lot: 72 A Sevres style ormolu mounted porcelain covered vase, 19th century, the tapering body and cover polychrome painted with garlands, further embellished with gilded scrolls and leaves, blue painted interlaced "L" mark with a "B" to the centre and an "A" below. 11cm high Lot: 73 A Meissen figure of a vintager's boy, circa 1870, the boy modelled sitting beside a basket of grapes, his aloft arm holding a bunch of grapes, underglaze blue crossed swords, impressed 111, incised 14. 11.5cm Lot: 74 A Victorian transfer printed pottery soup tureen, with cover, ladle and stand, printed with bands of foliage, faintly impressed mark. Height 28cm Estimate: 40.00-80.00 Lot: 75 A Canney Hill Pottery brown glazed model of a cat, 19th century, modelled on it's haunches, upon an integral oval plinth base. 29cm high Note: The Canney Hill Pottery was set up near Bishop Auckland in South Durham in 1845 and closed in 1914. A very similar example of this cat forms part of the Bowes Museum Collection, Barnard Castle.
