The treatments - for men and women - are safe and are carried out by expertly trained therapists and can be taken during or after medical treatment. Please read these carefully. ARRIVAL TIME To maximize your experience, we ask you to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. We require that all new clients fill out a Consultation Card before your treatment. Failure to arrive before your treatment to allow time for this may unfortunately result in your appointment time being reduced. WHAT TO BRING We provide a robe & towel service for clients to enjoy use of the day spa facilities. If using the facilities, please bring swimwear. On departure, please return the robes; towels; slippers & locker key to Front Desk - failure to do so will mean your card will automatically be charged 50. In the event that you lose your locker key, a Lost Key Charge of 20 will be automatically applied. Rainforest Spa accepts absolutely no liability for items lost; damaged or stolen within or outside the Day Spa. Your personal items are strictly your own responsibility. QUIET SPACE Rainforest Spa is strictly a quiet space. All guests attending the spa are asked to keep noise to below talking level at all times throughout the entire Spa to maintain a serene environment for all. Excessive noise may result in guests being asked to vacate the Day Spa and treatments will still be charged. Please inform any guests before arrival of this strict noise protocol. DAY SPA FACILITIES At Rainforest Spa, we offer a small indoor sauna & steam room; an outdoor hot tub and a Whisper Lounge with complimentary tea and coffee. We invite you to enjoy these facilities for up to one hour alongside your treatments*. In the interest of other guests, please adhere to this one-hour time guideline for the comfort of all spa guests. In the event that the thermal facilities are out of order or under maintenance, no refunds or discounts will be issued as this does not affect your treatment(s). * Use of the day spa facilities is free for Day Break & Stay Break guests and clients who individually spend 100 or more. Guests who do not have automatic access to the thermal suite can pay PP for one hour s access. ON A STAY BREAK? Treatments included in Stay Breaks must be pre-booked directly with Rainforest Spa by phone or email. Likewise, if you need to cancel your Stay Break you must also cancel your treatments directly with Rainforest Spa using the contact details provided above - otherwise your card provided to the Hotel will be automatically charged for your treatments. HEALTH CONDITIONS If you have allergies; are pregnant; have high blood pressure; sensitive skin; a heart condition or have any health/skin conditions, however minor, you are obliged to advise your therapist(s) verbally on each visit before each treatment. Please also advise us of any health conditions when making your booking. Rainforest Spa accepts no liability for reactions/complications that may occur if any sensitivities/conditions have not been made clear to their therapist verbally before each treatment. CANCELLATIONS/LATE ARRIVALS/PAYMENT We require card details to secure your booking. Your card will automatically be charged in the following situations: Cancellation with 48 hours (see Cancellation Policy below) Lost Locker Key charge 20 Failure to return robe/towel/slippers to Front Desk on departure 50 In the event you are asked to vacate the Day Spa for noise/behaviour your treatments will still be charged We require a minimum of 48 hours cancellation notice. A 50% cancellation charge will automatically be applied for any treatment(s) not cancelled directly with Rainforest Spa at least 48 hours prior to appointment time. Cancellation within 24 hours will incur a 100% charge. Don t worry, you can re-schedule your appointment without any charge. Arriving late may interfere with your treatment and in some cases we may be forced to reschedule your appointment. All appointments will end at their scheduled time so that the next guest will not be delayed. We accept cash, laser and all major credit cards. All prices are quoted in euro and are subject to change without prior notice. COURSES We offer courses on all of our treatments. Courses are valid for 6 months from date of purchase; are non-refundable and nontransferable. GIFT CARDS Treat yourself or someone special to a Rainforest Spa Gift Card. Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from date of purchase; are nonrefundable and non-transferable. Voucher code must be quoted at time of booking and presented on the day of treatment. Rainforest Spa Gift Cards are valid for use against services or products at Rainforest Spa or against Spa Breaks only at The Summerhill House Hotel. They cannot be used for any other services or products at The Summerhill House Hotel. Gift Cards are available to purchase online at www.rainforest.ie ADMISSIONS POLICY & CLIENT CONDUCT Rainforest Spa reserves the right to refuse admission. As a protective policy for our staff, clients are required to treat staff with dignity & respect at all times. Inappropriate behaviour of any kind (verbal/physical) is not permitted. Inebriation is not permitted. It is the right of a Rainforest Spa employee to remove themselves from any situation that they deem uncomfortable which may result in a treatment being cut short/cancelled at a cost to the client. 22 23
