Introducing Rosi Tahan Writer and Director Rosi s first introduction to the club was as part of the ensemble in the musical Oliver in 2015; since then she has been cast in shows such as A Knight to Remember, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Bedroom Farce, and most recently co-wrote, with Sarah-Jayne Eeles, the 2017 Christmas Show, Whodunnit, which she co-directed with Lauren Chapman-Holle. Rosi has been involved in theatre since her school days in Venezuela. In 2008 she auditioned for a musical TV show for young audiences and was cast in the main role in addition to writing 11 songs for the show. The show went on a National tour and recorded a popular album. In 2011, Rosi moved to London where she was involved with the City Academy Theatre Company, performed in many musicals and worked as a Drama Teacher for an After School drama programme. After receiving a call from music producers, she moved to North America to record a solo album in Spanish and recorded a single, which went to the top best five pop songs in Venezuela. To further her career, Rosi went on to work as a singer at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. We are very fortunate that Rosi moved to Kalgoorlie with her husband Jason and has now become a valued member of our Club. In 2018 once her new baby is born in February, Rosi plans to go back to the recording studio, become involved in more productions, write more stories, books, songs, whatever crazy idea crosses her mind.
