Secondary Container Labeled 25 26 Hazardous Chemical Labeling Whenever possible, it s best to rely on the manufacturer s product label. If a product is transferred to a secondary container, that container must be labeled with the product name or chemical name(s) and appropriate hazard warnings. Employees must know what the container holds and be able to reference the label information to the appropriate MSDS. Labels must be in English, but additional languages are acceptable. 55 56 Manufacturer s Label 57 58 EYEWASH STATION Glutaraldehyde Usage Turn on water with right hand Pull button to activate Hold eyelids open Rinse eyes for 15 minutes 59 EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURE: EYES: Immediately flush eyes with water and continue washing for at least 15 minutes. DO NOT remove contact lenses during the washing procedure. Obtain immediate medical attention, preferably from an ophthalmologist. SKIN: Immediately remove contaminated clothing and shoes and flush skin with soap and water; continue washing for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, obtain medical attention. Wash clothing before reuse. Discard contaminated leather articles such as shoes or belts. INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. Give artificial respiration if not breathing. If breathing is difficult, qualified personnel may give oxygen. If symptoms persist, obtain medical attention. INGESTION: DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. CALL PHYSICIAN OR YOUR LOCAL POISON CONTROL CENTER FOR MOST RECENT INFORMATION. NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Probable mucosa damage from oral exposure may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. 60
