Hello.. Richard Scott Print Collection.
Title: Candy Mandy Series: My Girl Series Size: A1-84 x 61cm (33 x 24inches) Year: 2012 Code: G0002 Edition: 147 After the launch of the Winters Day print, which also featured Mandy, I launched Mandy with a bright Candy background. It s a take on the popular Candy series I do in the paintings. The candy stripes kinda represent all the colourful things/traits/personality/looks about Mandy, whether she is my Mandy or your Mandy. This happens to be my most popular print in the series of the 147 edition. S Page 2 of 29
Title: Candy Ana Series: My Girl Series Size: A1-84 x 61cm (33 x 24inches) Year: 2012 Code: G0040 Edition: 147 Candy Ana is the second of the candy prints. I'm not sure why I waited five years to print the 2 nd candy print, especially since this Candy Mandy was the most popular print. I swapped the colours around and added some new ones. Page 3 of 29

Title: My Red Cape Town Mandy Series: Studio City Series Size: A1-84 x 61cm (33 x 24inches) Medium: Giclee Year: 2017 Code: G0044 Edition: 12 The Cape Town Girl series is an extension of the Studio works I do. The Studio Series involved me adding found studio objects from my travels to the canvas and painting My Girls over the found objects. By 2015 I had painted and sold 32 of these unique works. These new works are a simplified FLAT version of these studio works. Here I captured the girls with the Cape Town Skyline. You will see on the left is Tokai Forest and then the CBD of Cape Town. From the CBD we move to the colourful houses of BOKAAP and then Mouille Point Lighthouse warning the fishing boats in the foreground. Then we move onto Cape Town Stadium and into the Waterfront. The famous Big wheel and the Clock Tower and the new Zeits Mocca Art Museum. To the far right and beyond the Waterfront you can see the Sail Boats sailing off to see the little Colourful Beach Huts in Muizenberg. I hope you love it as much as I do. Page 7 of 29

Title: Red Ana Series: My Girls Size: A1-84 x 61cm (33 x 24inches) Medium: Giclee Year: 2012 Code: G0001 Edition: 147 The first painting I ever sold was a tree to Marika Hargitai at Hout Bay gallery on 1 st January 2002. It was a Tuesday. On the same day I dropped off 2 paintings of female figures. They were loose, freestyle hand drawn from models. On Friday that week John Hargitai from the gallery called me and said the works were sold and I was to bring more quickly. I couldn t keep up so I decided to create the perfect woman and paint her many times in different colours. So Ana became the most famous Richard Scott figure. I don t commercially paint her anymore; I only introduce her into my new series of works every six months. Due to the high demand for this work, I launched a print series of Ana in various colours in 2012. This is the first print available. Page 10 of 29
Title: Winters Day Series: My Girls Size: A1-84 x 61cm (33 x 24inches) Medium: Giclee Year: 2012 Code: G0004 Edition: 147 Mandy was the second print I launched after Ana and she is the second most popular of the girls in my original art. I decided on grey as it reminds me of those lovely winter weekend days lying on the couch with your partner and just soaking each other up. The red was the final touch just to juxtapose the grey, thus exposing the bright, happy side to Mandy s personality. Page 11 of 29
Title: Head North and Make Money Series: My Girl Brick Series Size: A1-61 x 61cm (24 x 24inches) Paper: Hahnemuhle Photo Medium: Giclee Colour Year: 2017 Code: G0036 Edition: 14 Page 12 of 29 I sometimes stamp my name on my paintings more than once. While doing this one day way back in 2007, I stamped the entire canvas with the r-i-c-h-a-r-d stamp. I remember selling them to a Swiss wine maker. I did not want to sell them, but at the time I thought I d do another series in the future. I did this, but, this time I decided to create a message in each work that relates to me and my daily thoughts and ideals. This print is the third in a series of six called Head North and Make Money: Head North and Make Money: This is related to my travels to Johannesburg, Dubai and Europe as I head north, away from my family, and meet with existing and new collectors, and make money.

This print is the third in a series of six called Missing the Simple Life Missing the simple life: This is a motto I often write on my studio works when I ve committed to a deadline in the studio late at night. Unlike most academic artists, I run my life quite simpl. So when I'm in that space I remind myself about the supposedly simple life I m living. Page 14 of 29

Title: Red Tree Series: Tree Series Size: A1-84 x 61cm (33 x 24inches) Year: 2012 Code: G0003 Edition: 147 Outside Hout Bay Manor hotel is a Jacaranda tree. Springtime brings the Jacaranda to full bloom. An amazing sight. That tree was the inspiration for my first tree painting; Jacaranda Tree and many others. I am in awe of trees. The tall blue gums as you drive from Kirstenbosch to Hout Bay. The power of the trees in Lord of the Rings. When I was a kid there were treehouses everywhere. I remember watching those wilderness programmes and those huge treehouses. I want to build Richie the biggest treehouse and spend many nights up there sleeping, exploring and reliving my childhood memories. So, yes, trees have a special place for me. Red Tree: The Red Tree is my most popular painting and I have painted many over the years. Each different in their own unique way. The Red tree print was thus the first tree print I launched in 2012. Blue Sky: This print is a spinoff of Red Tree and I decided to edition it to 700 along with its Olive brother. I have always wondered how artist can create such a large edition. I was sitting in a doctor s room way back in 2002 and I noticed a Walter Batiss edition to 1000. It fascinated me that 1000 people in the world had this artwork in there house or office or museum. Very cool Page 17 of 29

I have a fascination for lighthouses and decided to launch a print series of the original paintings I did back in the day. Agulhas Lighthouse: History lesson time: L Agulhas lighthouse is the second-oldest working lighthouse in South Africa. In 1840 it was decided to collect money in order to erect a lighthouse at the southernmost point of Africa. The design is based on the Pharos of Alexandria in Egypt. On 1 April 1847, building started and was completed in December 1848. On 1 March 1849 the lighthouse started functioning using sheep s tail-fat for the lamp. This produced a stationary white light of approximately 4 500 candlepower. In 1905 the tail-fat burner was replaced by an oil burner. In 1936 an electric light generating 12-million candlepower, replaced the oil burner, which still functions today. Page 24 of 29
