ALOE VERA FOR SKIN Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel and Aloe Vera Spray for skin. Tips and feedback from our happy customers: I mix it with my normal lotion or coconut oil, and it makes my skin feel AMAZING. I add a pinch of rose hip oil when using the gel on my hands, and my face for that matter, but it is not necessary. As to the impact on skin look - I feel it helps my skin feel smoother, and tighter, and knowing how helpful aloe is to one s skin, makes me feel good. 1 ALOE VERA FOR SKIN After sun relief Research has shown that Aloe Vera helps to heal skin from sunburns and mild burns. In addition, Aloe Vera oil can moisturize the skin, helping you avoid the peeling normally associated with sun damage. This should help the itching and stinging associated with a bad sunburn. Although Aloe Vera can be used to treat minor sunburns, more severe burns may require medical care from your doctor. Aloe Vera sunburn spray Ingredients: 1/2 cup Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Spray 1/8 cup Coconut Oil 10 drops Lavender Essential Oil 10 drops Peppermint Essential Oil 1 glass spray bottle 1. Add 2 inches of water to a pot over medium heat on the stove. 2. In a jar, combine the Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Spray and coconut oil. Now place the jar into the pot and stir, allowing the mixture to liquify before combining. 3. Once it has liquified and is well-combined, remove the jar from the pot and add essential oils. Mix well. 4. Pour the mixture into your spray bottle and spray onto affected areas. Keep it stored in a cool place. 7
1 ALOE VERA FOR SKIN After sun relief A good treatment for sunburn on the face 1. Cook ¼ cup plain of oatmeal. 2. Refrigerate until cool. 3. In a blender, puree 1 tomato. 4. Mix 1 tablespoon of Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel, 1 tablespoon of pureed tomato, and ½ cup of plain yogurt into chilled oatmeal. 5. Apply to sunburned skin and leave on 15 minutes or until dry. 6. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry. 7. Apply moisturizer or Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel. A TIP from a happy customer: I use it after swimming - rinse off and apply this to keep my skin from becoming dried out from the chlorine and it works great. 8
2 ALOE VERA FOR SKIN After shave Aloe Vera is a gentle alternative to after shave foams and gels, both for men and women. Due to its enzymes, Aloe Vera is anti-inflammatory and, thanks to its high water content, is very hydrating. It provides a smooth surface on your skin, giving you a very close shave, while preventing razor burn. It reduces skin irritation and heals any cuts due to shaving. After shave GEL Ingredients: 1/4 cup Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel 1/4 cup Witch Hazel 1 Tablespoon Glycerin Water to thin if needed (2-4 Tbs) Petitgrain Essential Oil, and Patchouli Essential Oil Small bottle Small jug Bowl Whisk 1. Combine Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel, Witch Hazel, and Glycerine in a bowl and whisk until all combined. 2. Add 12 drops of Patchouli Essential Oil, and 6 drops of Petitgrain Essential Oil. Whisk again to combine. If it s thicker than you d like, add some water, a little bit at a time, mixing in as you go until the desired consistency is reached. 3. Make sure your small jug is completely clean and dry. Transfer the mixture into your jug, and then from the jug into the clean bottle. You can also use a funnel if you have one. 3 ALOE VERA FOR SKIN Burns and cuts Aloe vera can treat mild burns and relieve the pain caused by them. Its moisturizing and healing capabilities enable the skin to return to a normal, healthy state quicker and to prevent scarring. Using Aloe Vera to treat small cuts and wounds is also recommended. Aloe is a good replacement for chemical moisturizers. The plant s long list of antioxidants, including beta-carotene and vitamins C and E, can keep your skin supple and firm. Aloe Vera for burned skin 1. Cut off a portion of the plant, and then wash it. 2. Then you can squeeze out the gel and put it on the burn / Alternatively use Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel or Spray. 3. After applying aloe, leave the affected area uncovered and clean. 4. Re-apply two to three times per day as needed. NB! Use it on closed burns, such as first and second degree. Do not use it on third degree or open burns. TIPS and feedback from happy customers: I used the aloe spray as a treatment for some burns on my hand that I incurred after I touched the metal handle of a skillet that I had just removed from the oven. First I flushed my hand a long time with cool water to stop my skin from continuing to cook. Then I sprayed the burns on my hand periodically with the Aloe Vera spray while keeping my hand in a plastic bag to contain the drips and benefit a little from any Aloe Vera fumes. It relieved a lot of the pain. Within 24 hours, any stiffness and swelling had disappeared and it seemed to have prevented any blisters. At home I use it on mild closed burns. 10
4 ALOE VERA FOR SKIN Eczema and Psoriasis Aloe Vera is able to penetrate multiple skin layers and helps to treat herpes, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and other skin allergies. Pure aloe gel is rich in anti-inflammatory and healing compounds, and provides a nice cooling sensation to itchy skin. Aloe vera penetrates deep into the skin, reducing the thickness of psoriasis rashes and flakes. Aloe vera is not a cure for the burning and itching that eczema causes. If used properly, it can temporarily relieve symptoms and may be more helpful when used in conjunction with other treatments recommended by a dermatologist. Balm for revealing symptoms of eczema and psoriasis Ingredients: 1/2 cup Olive Oil or Almond Oil 3-4 caps Borage Oil 20 drops Rosehip Oil 1. Although Aloe Vera won t cure acne completely, it may help heal acne scars, while reducing the formation of new blemishes. Aloe also hydrates dry skin, reduces the look of pores, soothes redness, helps control oil, and is the perfect primer for makeup. Aloe Vera with Honey Honey contains anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and antibiotic properties. It also contains minerals, antioxidants, and vitamins which nourish the skin. The combination of honey and Aloe Vera makes this recipe extra effective in treating acne. 1. Mix 1 tablespoon each of Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel and honey in a bowl. 2. Apply this on pimples and leave it on for 20 minutes. 3. Rinse with water and pat the skin dry. 4. Apply any oil free moisturizer. 5. Note: You can add ½ teaspoon of rose water or a pinch of turmeric for added benefits. 13
1 ALOE VERA FOR FACE Acne Aloe Vera Mask with Sugar and Milk This recipe makes an effective anti-pimple mask, which not only fights acne, but also brightens, moisturizes and soothes the skin. Sugar contains glycolic acid which promotes cell turnover. It also acts as a humectant to lock the moisture. Milk helps in toning, brightening and soothing the skin. 1. Mix 1 tablespoon of sugar in 1/2 tablespoon of milk until sugar dissolves. 2. Add 2 tablespoons of Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel or Spray. 3. Stir all these ingredients and apply this mixture as a mask on the affected skin. 4. Let it sit for about 20 30 minutes to dry. 5. Rinse with warm water and then dry your face. 6. Apply moisturizer and repeat this process regularly. TIPS and feedback from happy customers: This stuff is amazing for me. I have bad acne scars and it heals them up pretty quickly! I put this on my face after I wash, in lieu of lotion. It is clearing up my skin and keeping it radiant! 2 ALOE VERA FOR FACE Facial moisturiser Aloe vera gel is often used in skin care products to soothe, smooth, hydrate and soften the skin. It also has anti-aging benefits and moisturizes the skin without clogging pores. Aloe Vera Facial Moisturizing mask Ingredients: 1/3 cup Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel 2 tablespoons sweet almond oil 2 tablespoons jojoba oil 1 tablespoon beeswax 10 drops of your favorite essential oils 2 drops vitamin E oil - optional 1. Heat the almond oil, jojoba oil, and beeswax in the double boiler until melted and well combined (it takes about 2-5 minutes for me). 2. Pour the oil mix into a bowl large enough to use a hand mixer in without splashing. 3. Let the mixture cool to room temperature for at least an hour, possibly more. 4. Mix the essential oils into the Aloe Vera Gel 5. Once the mixture is room temperature, slowly add the Aloe Vera Gel as you use the hand mixer to whip up the moisturizer. You may not need all of the Aloe Vera Gel so add it gradually. 6. Continue to whip until it reaches your desired consistency. 7. Put in a container with a tight lid. 15
2 ALOE VERA FOR FACE Facial moisturiser Aloe Vera Cucumber and Yogurt Mask Ingredients: Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel Some Cucumber Juice Plain Yogurt Few drops of Rose Water / or Oil 1. Mix our Aloe Vera gel with some cucumber juice + plain yogurt + few drops of rose water/oil. 2. Stir ingredients well to form a thick paste. 3. Apply the mask onto your skin and leave it on for 20 minutes. 4. Rinse skin with cold water. TIPS and feedback from happy customers: I use it twice a day most of the time and my skin glows afterward. I mix it with honey for a face mask/wash and it makes my skin softer. I apply this to my skin after cleansing and toning, then apply a moisturizer. My skin has thanked me! I can t wait to use this in my hair. I like to mix it with some rose water and frankincense for my face. I use it every night and mix it up with vitamin E as an overnight mask! 3 ALOE VERA FOR FACE Makeup Primer or Foundation Aloe vera works just as well as most store-bought makeup primers and contains NO chemicals, which could potentially be bad for your skin and toxic to the body. It also works as a fantastic barrier against environmental elements, such as pollution, smoke and debris. Natural Foundation Ingredients: 2 teaspoons of argan oil or jojoba oil 1 teaspoon of shea butter 1/2 teaspoon emulsifying wax 1 tablespoon Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel 1 teaspoon witch hazel OR 3 tablespoons of natural pre-made lotion (in place of the first 5 ingredients) 1-4 teaspoons non-nano zinc oxide 1/4-1/2 tsp cocoa powder 1//2-1 tsp mica powder of choice 1/2 tsp clay of choice (if using) OR 2-3 teaspoons of allnatural mineral powder in color of choice 1. Melt the shea butter, argan oil and emulsifying wax in a double boiler until completely melted. 2. Add the Aloe Vera Gel and witch hazel and whisk until completely incorporated and smooth. 3. Turn heat off. 4. Slowly, start adding colors. Start with zinc and clays until desired coverage is reached. It will still be too pale at this point. 5. Add mica powders and cocoa powder a tiny pinch at a time until desired color is reached. 6. Dip the tip of a spoon into the mixture and let cool for a few seconds. Test the color and coverage on your forehead to make sure you ve achieved the right tone for your skin. 7. Spoon the mixture into the desired container and let cool. 17
3 ALOE VERA FOR FACE Makeup Primer or Foundation TIPS and feedback from happy customers: I have very oily combo skin and have been using Aloe Vera gel as a primer before my makeup and as a light moisturiser when it s hot or I m extremely oily that day. I spritz Aloe Vera spray on my face daily before and after makeup application. To make my eyebrow powder stay in place (letting it dry before applying powder), and it works! I use it on my face before applying my makeup. My skin is very soft and maybe even showing fewer wrinkles. 18
4 ALOE VERA FOR FACE Eye gel and eye makeup remover Apply Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel on a cotton pad and swipe away eye makeup before hitting the sack. You can also make a great Aloe Vera face cleanser that removes your makeup and keeps your skin looking wonderful. Or, if you re pressed for time, you can create your own Aloe Vera makeup removing wipes. These contain just a few ingredients and leave out all the preservatives and chemicals of store bought makeup removing wipes. Eye makeup remover Ingredients: Extra virgin olive oil Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Spray 1. Pour a scant ½ cup of olive oil in your bottle. 2. Fill remainder with Aloe Vera Juice from Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Spray bottle. 3. Shake well. 19
4 ALOE VERA FOR FACE Eye gel and eye makeup remover Aloe Vera Eye Mask Ingredients: Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel Raw honey (equal parts of Aloe Vera Gel and honey) 2 tablespoons of oil of your choice for every 1 cup of cleanser. 1. In a small container, combine Aloe Vera Gel and honey. 2. Add the oil. 3. Use an immersion blender to combine the ingredients until a paste forms. 4. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. TIPS and feedback from happy customers: I use it under my eyes and the skin instantly feels moisturized. I have been using Aloe Vera spray by spraying a round cotton ball to remove my eye makeup and my eyes feel great. I have only used it once so far to create an under eye cream with my essential oils and so far it is fantastic. 20

1 ALOE VERA FOR HAIR Shampoo Aloe vera gel possesses antifungal and antibacterial properties that can benefit the hair. Many hair styling products, shampoos and conditioners feature Aloe Vera gel as a key ingredient because it offers several key benefits for the hair. Aloe vera shampoo can alleviate dandruff symptoms. If you have an Aloe Vera plant at home, you can take a few leaves, slice them lengthwise, scrape off the gel and use this on your scalp or add it to a mild herbal shampoo when washing your hair. Aloe vera gel contains proteolytic enzymes, which repair dead skin cells on the scalp. Aloe Vera Shampoo Ingredients: 2 cups distilled water 2 ounces dried herbs 6 ounces liquid castile soap 2 tablespoons Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel ½ teaspoon jojoba oil (omit for oily hair) 40-50 drops essential oils Directions: 1. Bring the distilled water to a boil, and then add the herbs. 2. Cover, reduce heat to low and steep for 15 to 20 minutes. 3. Remove from the heat, strain the spent herbs from the liquid and discard. 4. Add the castile soap to the herbal water slowly, mixing gently as you pour. 5. Add the Aloe Vera Gel, jojoba and essential oils. Mix well. 6. Pour the Aloe Vera shampoo into a plastic squeeze bottle. 7. Use as needed, and shake gently before each use. If you have dry hair, shampoo no more than three times per week. 22
1 ALOE VERA FOR HAIR Shampoo Aloe Vera Shampoo with egg and honey Ingredients: 1 egg *preferably free range ¼ cup of Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel 2 teaspoons of raw honey 2 teaspoons of almond oil 2 teaspoons of bentonite clay 1. In a deep bowl, pour in all the ingredients. 2. Use a whisk to beat all the ingredients until you get a smooth mixture. 3. Apply this onto your hair and massage it into your scalp for at least 2 minutes. 4. 2 ALOE VERA FOR HAIR Natural conditioner Applying Aloe Vera to the hair and scalp will result in a head of hair that is renewed, volumized and resistant to the damaging effects of dryness. To enhance the moisturizing effects of your conditioner, add 2 teaspoons of Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel into your favorite conditioner and use it after shampooing. Aloe deeply hydrates the hair shaft, creating softer, smoother hair. Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel nourishes hair from root to tip, opens up the pores on the scalp and exfoliates hair follicles. Aloe Vera Gel contains a chemical like keratin that can penetrate the hair and provide it with essential amino acids that add luster and make it stronger. Aloe Vera Conditioner Ingredients: Half of a fresh lemon ¼ cup of Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel or Aloe Vera Spray 3-5 drops of your favorite essential oil 1. Squeeze the juice from half of a fresh lemon into a bowl. 2. Mix Aloe Vera Gel or Aloe Vera Spray with the lemon. 3. Add few drops of essential oil. Aloe Vera Deep Moisturizing Conditioner Ingredients: ¼ cup aloe gel ¼ cup coconut oil, warmed in the microwave for mixing 1. Blend both ingredients together. 2. Apply to wet hair after shampooing and rinsing. 3. Leave on for a few minutes before rinsing and styling as normal. 24
2 ALOE VERA FOR HAIR Natural conditioner TIPS and feedback from happy customers: When out of the shower, I spray this Aloe Vera spray root to tip and comb through. My hair has never felt better! I used it as a pre-poo combined with castor oil and spread it along my hair and covered it for 1 hour, then continued with my wash routine afterwards When I first take my hair down I spray Aloe Vera spray all over with the Aloe Vera and give it a couple minutes. It doesn t make my hair greasy, but it helps with the tangles and gives it a nice shine. I m also experimenting by pouring four ounces in a glass spray bottle and adding essential oils such as rosemary, clary sage and tea tree. I ve also steeped calendula flowers and added that to make my own hair brightener. What I like is that it makes my hair shiny and gives it some body (I have long, fine hair that is blond and stick straight). I also love using it in hair masks with some different oils, definitely noticed a big difference in my hair immediately! I love using this in my hair. It helps smooth out some dry ends, add moisture/conditioning to overly dry hair, especially when my conditioner wasn t left in long enough or I accidentally rinsed it out too much. When I can leave my hair to air dry, this is a definite go-to in my routine. I m ready to order more and plan to try the gel also with spring & summer coming up. 25
3 ALOE VERA FOR HAIR For frizzy-curly hair Aloe vera treatments can add shine and soft texture to frizzy hair, while making it more manageable. Simply apply Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel on your scalp and locks before you step out. Aloe Vera Gel works just like hair gel and also forms a protective layer, preventing dirt and debris from settling on the hair. Aloe Vera Gel also makes your hair look well hydrated. Quick-fix Aloe Vera for Frizzy hair Ingredients: 2 tablespoons of coconut oil 4 tablespoons of Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel 3 tablespoons of curd 1. Make a paste. 2. Apply paste to dry hair. 3. Leave on your hair for about half an hour. 4. Rinse with water. 26
3 ALOE VERA FOR HAIR For frizzy-curly hair Aloe Vera Styling Gel 1. Mix Aloe Vera gel into your prepoo oil, shampoo, conditioner or styling products. OR 2. Mix Aloe Vera gel with homemade flaxseed gel. TIPS and feedback from happy customers: I have extremely frizzy, curly hair and I have noticed immediate results in that my hair is much softer. Natural Homemade Baby Wipes with Aloe Vera Ingredients: 1 roll of heavy duty paper towels Rubbermaid #6 or #8 container (Empty wipe containers, plastic shoebox containers, old plastic coffee containers or empty gallon plastic ice cream buckets also work) 1 3/4 cups boiled water (or distilled) cooled but still warm (you can use regular water if you use the wipes in less than a week.) 1 tablespoon of Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel 1 tablespoon of pure Witch Hazel Extract 1 teaspoon of Liquid Castile Soap 10 drops Grapefruit Seed Extract or 2 capsules of Vitamin E (optional) 1 teaspoon of Olive or Almond Oil (optional) Essential Oils of choice (optional; I use 6 drops each of orange and lavender) Continue 42
1 ALOE VERA FOR KIDS AND BABIES Aloe Vera for kids and babies 1. Cut the roll of paper towels in half using a sharp knife 2. If using a plastic shoe box or old wipe container, accordion fold the wipes into the container. If using a Rubbermaid #6 container (I highly recommend), place the wipes, cut side down in container. 3. In bowl or quart size jar, mix the water, aloe, witch hazel, castile soap, GSE/ Vitamin E and oil and stir. 4. Add essential oils if desired and stir. 5. Pour over paper towels in container and let absorb. This takes about 5-10 minutes. 6. Flip the container over to make sure wipes are well soaked. 7. If using Rubbermaid container, pull the cardboard roll out from the inside. This should also pull the innermost wipe out and start them for you. Depending on the brand of paper towels you use, you might have to experiment with the amount of water to get the right amount. 8. Use as you would regular wipes, and smile, knowing you are using a safe, allnatural product on your child! Note: If your child has extremely sensitive skin, you may need to leave out the essential oils or use calendula or chamomile. Aloe Vera for Dogs Hot Spots treatment 1. Carefully trim the fur away from the severely affected hot spots on your dog s body. 2. Soak a clean washcloth in cool water. Gently cleanse the hot spots. 3. Apply a thin layer of 100% pure Aloe Vera gel to the hot spots. For added relief, add a drop of lavender essential oil or tea tree oil to the Aloe Vera gel. 4. Repeat this process every day, once or twice a day, until the hot spots begin to heal. 5.
