Page1 In order to provide a positive learning environment at San Jacinto Valley Academy, all students are expected to dress for success. Our standard is that students are to be in the correct uniform everyday and ready to learn. All students must be in uniform at all times while on campus and at some off campus school related functions. Uniforms must be worn on fieldtrips. Parents are asked to read and understand San Jacinto Valley Academy s dress code, support its enforcement and explore it thoroughly with their student. The following standards are designed to promote learning and safety for all students. Boys Dress Code Shirts: Students are to wear an unaltered solid color polo shirt, short or long sleeve of the appropriate size. Polos must be free from any design or logo (except for the SJVA logo). Polos must be buttoned at least to the third from the top button or/and at the collar bone. Students may not wear anything underneath their polo shirts except one white or solid colored short-sleeve or longsleeve t-shirt. Print or embroidering on the t-shirt is not permitted. On cold days, students may wear solid colored crewneck, v-neck, or cardigan sweaters, hoodies, or sweatshirts in maroon, gray, navy blue, black, brown, tan or white only. Sweatshirts and sweaters must be free from any printed or embroidered design or logo except the SJVA logo. If sweatshirts are worn over the top of the school shirt, the collar of the school shirt must be completely visible. A solid colored dress shirt accompanied with a solid colored or conservative print with an appropriately tied tie is an acceptable replacement for the polo. No loud prints or ties with offensive verbiage. Dress shirt must be tucked in to pants.
