INFORMATION // FABRICS 47 {SUBLIMATION} All of our bespoke playing kit is produced using sublimation printing. The sublimation process involves placing the transfer paper and fabric under a high temperature and pressure, under which the ink changes into a gas and permeates the fabric. Once transferred to the fabric the panels are cut and sewn together. The process allows almost limitless possibilities for kit design. {SUGGESTED LOGO PLACEMENTS} Below are some suggested logo placements based on our most common placements. If you would like to discuss alternative logo placements, please don t hesitate to discuss this further with your account manager.
INFORMATION // EMBELLISHMENT 48 {EMBROIDERY} Our leisure range can be embellished in various ways, one of these being embroidery. Embroidery is mostly used to apply crests and detail to leisurewear, including: Tech T-shirts, Polos, Hoodies & Softcores, etc. {VINYL & DIGITAL} Vinyl pressing allows us to further bespoke garments to suit the clients needs. Vinyl is single colour (we have a select range) whereas Digital Printing allows us to press a full colour logo or image. {SCREEN PRINTING} If necessary we can screen print shirts with more complicated designs, we try to keep this for special events and large orders. The reason for this is that large quantities must be screen printed at any one time and it also slows down lead times on kit.
INFORMATION // ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS 49 {LOGO QUALITY} To help us make your Crests, Logos and Sponsors as crisp as possible, here are a few guidelines on the artwork we require. Artwork should preferably be supplied as an editable vector file, vector formats include:.ai (adobe illustrator),.eps, and certain.pdf files. Using these vector filetypes ensures that your artwork looks crisp and clear at any size by eliminating pixelation like rasters (see image below for more details). CHANGING THE FILE SUFFIX FROM.JPG TO.EPS, FOR EXAMPLE, WILL NOT WORK. THE FILE MUST ORIGINATE FROM VECTOR EDITING SOFTWARE. If these are impossible to provide, raster files such as,.jpg,.png and.tif at a resolution of 300dpi are also sufficient but quality may be affected if sizes larger than 2XL are required. If you are unable to supply these files a redraw service is available. Most normal logos will take roughly one hour to complete depending on the quality of the image supplied. In cases where a complex logo is required or multiple logos are required. THE COST OF REDRAWING LOGOS IS CHARGED AT 40 AN HOUR. Please speak to your account manager to discuss any ideas you have and whether or not costs will be involved. For small alterations there is no fee but for complete large scale logo designs or redesigns, we may charge based on time taken to complete the project. Often we will create simple logo designs at no cost.
