COLs and above will wear red embroidered gorgets with tapered ends on each side of the collar. AIGUILLETTE - CDF, ADC and Hon ADC on duty will wear on the right shoulder. DAs, ADAs, MA/SA to CDF and Service Chiefs will wear on the left. SAF BADGES AND MEDALS - Highest precedence badge will be worn closest to the heart or above all other badges when more one badge is worn. - Max of three badges may be worn on the right. - Badges are worn centered and in line with SAF badges on the left. SWORD BELT AND STRAP - Sword is issued to commissioned Officers, Military Expert of ME4 rank or Warrant Officers of MWO and above, as a symbol of leadership. - These officers, military experts or warrant officers may wear the sword for functions/ceremonies as specified for the event. - Officers and RSMs on parade will carry sword as required (Refer to Chap 6). - The sword belt will be worn in the same manner as a belt i.e. through the belt loop of the trousers. It is worn below the jacket, with the sword strap jutting out from the slitopening. FOOT WEAR - Parade participants will wear black boots with leather sole. - Spectators and guests will wear the black low cut shoes. - Snr Officers holding LTC appointment and above, and Bn RSMs and above are entitled to patent black low cut shoes. 1 - Vocation or Highest precedence badge will be worn closest to the heart or above all other badges when more one badge is worn. - Max of three badges may be worn on the left. - Badges are worn centered, above the left pocket flap or medals. RED SASH - Colour Escorts on parade will wear a 8.5cm wide red sash, passing over the right shoulder and under the left arm. - Foreign qualification badges may be worn on the sash instead of the No.1 dress. The badges of rank are sewn or fastened on the right sleeve, with the lowest point of the insignias at 24cm from the shoulder seam.
