Do not mix, store or apply the product or spray solutions the product in galvanised steel or unlined steel (except stainless steel) containers or spray tanks. Avoid contact the concentrate with strong alkalis and alkaline materials such as lime. Such contact may release isopropylamine vapour with a strong fish like odour, which is an irritant to eyes. Isopropylamine is moderately toxic, LD0 (oral, rat) is 820 mg/kg and a TLV ppm (TWA) has been set. Hazardous polymerisation is not possible. 11. Toxicological Information Toxicology No harmful effects are expected if the precautions on the label and this MSDS Information are followed. Acute Toxicity - Oral LD0 (rat) >000 mg/kg for a similar formulation Acute Toxicity - LD0 (rabbit) >000 mg/kg for a similar formulation Dermal Acute Toxicity - LC0 (rat) (4hr) >1.3 mg/l for a similar formulation LC0 concentration not reached. Ingestion The concentrate is low toxicity if swallowed. Amounts swallowed incidental to normal handling procedures and use are not expected to cause injury. Possible symptoms exposure include: nausea, vomiting and gastrointestinal discomfort and diarrhoea. Ingestion a large quantity the undiluted product may result in hypotension and pulmonary oedema.

The Australian Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI) for glyphosate for a human is 0.3 mg/kg/day, set for the public for daily, lifetime exposure. This is based on the NOEL 30 mg/kg/day, the level determined to show no effects during long term exposure for the most sensitive indicators and the most sensitive species. (Ref: Comm. Dept. Health and Ageing, Office Chemical Safety, 'ADI List', December 201). 12. Ecological information Persistence and Adsorption studies indicate that glyphosate has very low mobility. degradability Average field half life glyphosate is 47 days. Other Precautions Do not spray in high winds. Do not contaminate dams, waterways or sewers with this product. Environmental Glyphosate is a non-selective contact herbicide. Protection Spray drift can cause damage. Acute Toxicity - Fish The following is data for a similar product. LC0 (96hr) for rainbow trout is 8.2-26 mg/l. Acute Toxicity - EC0 (48hr) for daphnia is 11 mg/l for technical glyphosate. Daphnia Acute Toxicity - EC0 (72hr) for algae is 4.4 mg/l for technical glyphosate. Algae Acute Toxicity - The following data is for the active ingredient, glyphosate. Other Organisms Birds: Not toxic to birds. LD0 for mallard ducks and bobwhite quail (diet) is 2000 mg/kg Bees: Not toxic to bees. LD0 >100 µg/bee. 13. Disposal considerations Product Disposal DO NOT dispose undiluted chemicals on site. Ideally, the product should be used for its intended purpose. If there is a need to dispose the product, approach local authorities who hold periodic collections unwanted chemicals (ChemClear ). Container Disposal Triple or preferably pressure rinse inner bladder or containers before disposal. Add rinsings to the spray tank.
