Both are 100% degradable but PP is harder giving the bags a stiffer feel. LDPE is softer, longer lasting, easier to wipe down when wet and is more biodegradable. Unlaminated Less expensive and popular for general shopping, groceries, books and towels etc. These bags can be totally unlaminated or coated with a vegetable thickener which confers stability and is not noticeable.
