Procedure: Ask students to watch the video trailer for Blended and identify the characters that match the sentences. Play it two or three times. Divide students in pairs and ask them to rewrite the sentences in task 1 using say and tell. Correct the task. Ask the students in pairs to cover part of the interview: one should report Andy Warhol s questions and the other Dwayne Johnson s. After they finish, have them read the interview to check if the partner was correct. Wrap up: Ask students to write gossips about famous people on pieces of paper. Tell them to walk around the classroom, listen to their classmates, take notes about the gossips they heard and then report them to everybody. Walk around the classroom and praise your students. Provide vocabulary if necessary. Extra: Ask students to make a reported version of the interview and bring it the following class. Have students correct each other s report.
