First Year Loss of Use and Mortality Insurance XH Angus is offering to pay ½ the cost of a full year policy covering mortality and loss of use. The total cost of the coverage is 12% of the purchase price to be split between XH Angus and the buyer. Request for insurance must be made sale day to be eligible. We think this is a very fair and complete coverage and it will be the only loss of use breeding guarantee offered by XH Angus. Coverage Summary of Bull Mortality and Loss of Use Insurance Coverage XH Angus has arranged for Western States Insurance Agency to make available Mortality/Loss of Use Coverage for XH Angus s sold in the November 15, 2012 sale. The Value of the is considered to be the Purchase Price as listed on the Date of Sale. We will reimburse as follows: Full Mortality: 100% of the Value of the (s) in the event of death or life-threatening injury; Loss of Use: 80% of the Value of the (s) in the event of Loss of Use from Accident, Injury, or Disease; Loss of Use: 25% of the Value of the (s) in the event of Loss of Use from Accident, Injury, or Disease with no known cause; The coverage provides traditional, full mortality for death from natural causes and accidental causes including life-threatening injuries. The coverage includes Loss of Use for claims made during the policy term. The coverage is available on the Date of Sale for those who choose to insure their (s). The policy will insure the (s) from the Date of Sale for a period of One Year. All claims made to the Company require a Veterinarian s certified examination of the animal(s) for which the claim is made. Under the Loss of Use extension of coverage, the animal s inability to naturally service cows must be diagnosed by a Veterinarian, and immediately reported to the Company. A Loss as defined by the policy shall occur if after the date of diagnosis and first report, the cannot breed due to accident, injury, illness, or disease. Loss of Use claims will be settled as above. All this is an abbreviated summation of the actual policy terms and conditions. Please read the entire policy to know how coverage applies. The cost of the coverage is 6% of the Purchase Price for Mortality with Loss of Use. That amount will be added to the cost of your (s) at settlement on the Date of Sale if this insurance is purchased.
