PRO Kevin S. Pinski, MD Dr. Pinski attended Northwestern University Medical School and completed his residency training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Pinski has served as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Northwestern University (www.nmh.org). Dr. Pinski is a member of many professional organizations including the International Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery as well as past president of the Noah Worcester National Dermatological Honor Society. He is the author or co-author of numerous articles and book chapters, and has made more than 100 presentations nationally and internationally. Dr. Pinski has been profiled in various publications including Who s Who in America, Best Doctors in America, Allure, and Vogue. Recently he was named by the Consumers Research Council of America and by More Magazine as one of the nation s top cosmetic surgeons. He has also been featured in Chicago Magazine as one of the top Dermatologists in Chicago. Dr. Pinski practices general and cosmetic dermatology. He has a particular interest in facial rejuvenation using Botox, Fillers, Kybella, Lasers and Liposculpting. He currently is one of the largest users of Botox in the country. In fact, he has utilized fillers for over 25 years and Botox for over 18 years. He is a national and international instructor of other physicians for facial rejuvenation utilizing fillers and neuromodulators (such as Botox). Lastly, he has served as an advisor to Allergan, Merz and Medicis. These are the companies responsible for our currently used filler and neuromodulator products.
OF Ronald Sulewski, Jr., MD Dr. Ronald Sulewski, Jr was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in Quincy, Illinois, and Denver, Colorado. Dr. Sulewski earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. While attending medical school he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha- National Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency at University of Miami Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery. Prior to beginning medical school, he attended University of Notre Dame where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree magna cum laude, with a major in Biological Sciences. He has made presentations for the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting, as well as Miami Dermatology Society meetings. Dr. Sulewski is a Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. He is also an active member of the Chicago Dermatological Society. Dr. Sulewski has volunteered his time and expertise for various organizations including the annual Sunsmart Melanoma Awareness 5K run, International Health Elective in Bolivia, and the CommunityHealth Clinic in Chicago, IL Dr. Sulewski s passions in practicing dermatology include but are not limited to medical dermatology, acne treatments, psoriasis, and the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers. In addition, he performs Botox, fillers, chemical peels and other various cosmetic procedures. Dr. Sulewski also speaks fluent Spanish.
PRO Renata Block, MMS, PA-C and Diplomate SDPA Renata M. Block was born and raised in the Chicago area as the first generation daughter of Polish immigrants and speaks fluent Polish. Ms. Block has a Masters in Medical Science in Physician Assistant studies from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Before beginning her education as a Physician Assistant, she received an undergraduate degree with honors in Biology/Pre-Med with dual minors in Chemistry and Psychology from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Block is a Board Certified Physician Assistant who has been specializing in dermatology since 2004. Her expertise is treating dermatological conditions. She is highly skilled at detecting and treating skin cancers as well as performing cosmetic procedures such as skin tightening treatments and laser hair removal. As an avid believer in patient education, she enjoys teaching patients about cosmetics and product use including anti-aging formulations. OF Peter Keorpes, MSPAS, PA-C Peter A. Keorpes was born and raised in south suburban Orland Park. Growing up with a large Greek family has allowed for Peter to be fluent in the language. Mr. Keorpes has a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Alderson-Broaddus College. Before beginning his education to become a Physician Assistant, he received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Illinois State University. Mr. Keorpes is a Nationally Board Certified Physician Assistant who has been specializing in Dermatology since 2009 in the state of Ohio, before joining our practice in 2011. He is experienced and proficient in the detection, treatment and management of skin cancers, acne, warts, psoriasis, and various skin eruptions, and making patients look and feel their very best! When he is not working Peter enjoys traveling, the great outdoors, and spending quality time with family. PRO Kayla Kruger, Licensed Medical Aesthetician Kayla was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida and moved to Chicago in 2009. She received her aesthetics license in 2009 from Pivot Point International Academy where she graduated top of her class. Kayla additionally has an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and received a Master s of Science degree in Communications from Northwestern University. Kayla has been an aesthetician at Pinski Dermatology since 2011. Kayla has extensive training in general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, lasers, skin care and makeup application. She additionally performs our Visia complexion analyses and skin care treatments. Kayla is a member of the the National Esthetics Association and enjoys helping patients with customized treatment regimens to optimize skin health with a variety of results-oriented treatments.
OF Tami Bruno, Licensed Medical Aesthetician Tami joined Pinski Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in 2011 after receiving her aesthetics license from Naperville Skin Institute. She specializes in skincare treatments and has gained experience in multiple aspects of her field over the years. Tami now serves as a medical assistant in addition to our licensed aesthetician and cosmetic coordinator at our Bourbonnais location. She assists patients with any questions they may have regarding cosmetic procedures or skin care products and can help formulate a treatment plan tailored to their needs. Staying trained on the latest procedures is very important to Tami, and she eagerly keeps up to date on new techniques, technologies and beauty treatments. She takes pride in her compassionate nature and is always available to help out wherever she is needed. Tami s dedication to skin is apparent in her commitment to expand her skills, and her patients highly appreciate her expertise. MEDICAL DERMATOLOGY Dermatologists are uniquely trained to evaluate, diagnose and treat a variety of dermatological conditions on the skin, hair and nails. Our medical services include treatment of: acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, warts, skin tags, rashes, fungal disorders, moles and hair loss along with many other skin disorders. We offer full body skin exams for skin cancer screening, diagnose and manage benign and premalignant growths, and perform MOHS Skin Cancer Surgery to effectively treat all forms of skin cancer, including basal cell carinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma. PRO MOHS SKIN CANCER SURGERY Mohs micrographic surgery is a precise way to remove skin cancers with the highest cure rate while leaving the most amount of normal skin. The skin cancer is examined under the microscope, and once cleared the wound is usually closed with sutures. This technique offers a 99% cure rate for most tumors. The two most common type of skin cancers (basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma) are usually treated with Mohs if they are on the face, if they are large on other parts of the body, or if they have recurred after another type of treatment. Long-term monitoring of the surgical site and other areas is necessary as people with one skin cancer are at high risk of developing another.

The procedure lifts and helps increase volume and restore contours to the mid-face and cheek area. Fat Reduction Can be performed surgically with liposuction or nonsurgically with Kybella injections. Liposuction is a technique for removing excess fat by suction-assisted sculpting. Kybella injections dissolve fat over a series of non invasive treatments. OF COSMETIC PROCEDURES Photodynamic Therapy Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) is a treatment that uses a photosensitizing solution along with light therapy to treat the signs of sun damage, redness, and acne. PDT can also be used for treatment of actinic keratoses (pre cancerous lesions). Skin Tightening Ultrasonic or radio frequency waves are used to treat the tissue to stimulate collagen production and smooth, lift or tighten the skin. Treatment: Thermage, Ultherapy Sclerotherapy Treatment of spider veins by the injection of an irritant that causes inflammation, coagulation of blood, and narrowing of the blood vessel wall. Hair Transplant Hair transplantation is a surgical technique that moves individual hair follicles from a part of the scalp called the donor site to bald or balding part of the scalp known as the recipient site. It is primarily used to treat male and female pattern baldness. Microblading Eyebrows Microblading is a non invasive, semi-permanent treatment that creates tiny strokes that look like individual hairs in order to fill out or reshape the eyebrows. The results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brow that lasts up to two years. This analysis is beneficial to all patients, to get a close up view of what s going on at the surface of the skin as well as beneath. A VISIA imaging session captures key visual information for eight areas affecting complexion health and appearance: spots, pores, wrinkles, texture, porphyrins (evidence of bacteria in pores), UV spots (characteristic of photo damage, typically from overexposure to sun), red areas, and brown spots.
