CHI Massages and treatments are based on authentic natural healing methods found in traditional wellbeing practices shared by many Asian cultures. With roots set in the Chinese theory of the Five Elements of metal, water, wood, fire and earth to harmonise the body s energy, each CHI, The Spa also draws on the traditional techniques of the host location and culture. CHI, The Spa Sydney CHI, The Spa at Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney features six luxurious spa suites with vast private changing areas and aroma steam showers. Three of the suites have infinity-edge spa tubs. The spa offers more than 20 specialised treatments using products from esteemed Australian skin care company Sodashi. Sodashi is considered the purest spa range in the world. Not tested on animals and free from chemicals, mineral oils or synthetic preservatives and fragrances, it has harnessed the benefits of plant essences to formulate luxurious high-performance skin care products and spa treatments. HOW TO SPA RESERVATIONS Advance booking prior to intended treatment time is essential. Please either call or visit CHI, The Spa should you wish to discuss your personalised treatment. ARRIVING TIME To make the most of your spa experience, please arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. Upon your arrival at CHI, The Spa, you will be given a health consultation. Please advise the therapist if you are pregnant or have any health concerns. MOBILE PHONES For the comfort of other spa guests, please ensure your electronic devices are switched off upon entry to CHI, The Spa. WHAT TO WEAR Spa robes and slippers are provided in your Treatment suite. Please wear something comfortable. PRIVACY Your privacy will be protected at all times. Your therapist will leave you to change in private and throughout the treatment you will be draped with towels, covering all parts of the body not being treated. PREPARING FOR YOUR TREATMENT For ladies, no preparation is necessary. For men, we recommend shaving prior to having a facial for maximum comfort and benefit to the skin. Gift Vouchers / Spa Credits All gift vouchers and spa credits must be presented on arrival to CHI, The Spa and redeemed within the validity dates. CANCELLATION In consideration of other spa guests, as your treatment requires that facilities be reserved, we request a minimum of 24 hours notice if you are unable to keep your appointment. No shows or appointments cancelled within 24 hours will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
