P O S T - S H O W R E P O R T Record Year in-cosmetics Asia 2012 opened its doors to a record-breaking number of visitors with a 34% uplift compared to 2011. In a region that is now becoming a clear focus for big cosmetic brands, BITEC in Bangkok provided the perfect backdrop to in-cosmetics Asia, which attracted 5,163 unique visitors (audited figure*) over the course of three days. 3,197 visitors came from Thailand and 1,966 delegates travelled across Asia and the rest of the world to discover innovative ingredients, formulations and an unparalleled educational programme including seminars, workshops and marketing trend presentations. Recognised as the leading pan-asian personal care ingredient show, in-cosmetics Asia gave visitors unrivalled access to a records 294 exhibitors - including 66 first timers - from 31 countries over a record 4,200m 2.
