INTRODUCTION The Decorative Door & Cabinet Hardware shown in this catalogue is made in various designs and from many different materials; such as Crystal, Brass and beautiful Quartz Stones. Most of the different designs are available with matching Door & Cabinet Hardware. Our collection of knobs are shown with the different Solid Brass fittings (also known as Roses) for design reference only and can be interchanged with other compatible Roses. This flexibility to interchange Knobs and Roses provides designers the distinct opportunity to choose the ideal combination for their unique projects. Due to the natural color variation in stone, our products made of natural stone do vary in color and no two pieces will be exactly alike. The Description of Knob Materials & Properties section in this catalogue describes the properties and expected color variation of the various materials our knobs are made of. To determine the total Profile (Height) of a glued combination, please add the profiles of the different Knob & Rose. For example, the total height of the Mushroom Design Crystal Door Knob with Plain (P) Rose would be: Knob Profile: 1-7/8 (48 mm) Rose Profile: 1-1/8 (27 mm) Total Profile: 3 (75 mm). Most Roses are currently available in the following standard finishes: Antique Brass, Polished Brass, Brushed Brass, Polished Nickel, Brushed Nickel, Satin Chrome and Oil Bronze Black. GUIDE TO FINISHES Finish: Antique Brass Darker than natural brass, this finish looks aged with time and gives character. Code:(AB) Finish: Brushed Brass A matte brass finish that is non-reflective and gives a modern flair to traditional style cabinetry. Code:(BB) Finish: Brushed Nickel A timeless non-reflective finish produced by brushing Nickel plated hardware. The brushing produces a matte effect and emulates a modern finish. DESCRIPTION OF KNOB MATERIALS & PROPERTIES Black Crystal Clear Crystal Crystal (K9, K5, LC): Available in Clear & Black Crystal, the Elegance collection of Clear Crystal knobs have a brilliant shine and are colorless. Our Black Crystal Knobs are solid black and have no color variation. Due to the manufacturing process, some of our crystal knobs which are molded (code LC) may exhibit small air pockets. Rock Crystal (RC): Rock Crystal is a type of quartz which is clear and mostly colorless. Although it is mostly colorless, knobs made from this stone can range from being completely clear to milky and opaque, as such knobs made from Rock Crystal are considered to be have a medium to high color variation. Rose Quartz (RQ): Rose Quartz is a type of quartz stone which exhibits a mostly pink color and has a milky texture. Knobs made from Rose Quartz have a low color variation. Fluorite Stone (FL): Fluorite is a mineral that ranges in color from almost clear light green, to dark purple with hints of grey and more. Knobs made from Fluorite have a high color variation. M 01
DESCRIPTION OF KNOB MATERIALS & PROPERTIES Amethyst Stone (AM): Amethyst is a form of Quartz that ranges from a bright to dark purple color. Knobs made from Amethyst have a medium to high color variation. Obsidian (OB) Obsidian is actually volcanic glass and has a glassy luster. Generally all Obsidian Knobs have a low to virtually no color variation. Green Moss Agate (GM): Green Moss Agate is a gemstone which exhibits various shades of green and grey. Knobs made from this material have a high color variation. Lapis Lazuli (LP): Lapis Lazuli is a deep blue gemstone with specs of golden inclusions and grayish marble veins. Due to the inconsistencies of the grey veins, knobs made from Lapis are considered to have a medium to high color variation. M 02
DESCRIPTION OF KNOB MATERIALS & PROPERTIES White Agate (WA): White Agate is opaque and mostly white in color, however it can consist of some black and brown inclusions. Knobs made of White Agate have a low color variation. Camel Agate (CA): Camel Agate has circular banks of dark mustard color which resembles fossil wood. Knobs made from Camel Agate have a low color variation. Red Jasper (RJ): Red Jasper is a quartz stone ranging in colors, usually from red to orange and brown.
