Ski Dubai The task The locker rooms have to be part of the experience and at the same time integrate into the design and entertainment concept of the owners. An expansion option was intended even in the advance planning stages, which required the furniture components to be highly flexible. This is why the Cambio series a highly modular system which is suited to different user groups thanks to its various compartment sizes, was used. At the same time the lockers can be flexibly expanded and changed to respond to changing user numbers and user structures. The locker groups also fulfil a partition function, creating user zones. The locker colour concept creates a pleasant atmosphere and serves as a uniform design principle for all locker room zones. The volcano grey carcass houses the extremely durable HPL front, which adds a warm tone to the colour mood with its pine design. The challenge here was to create a solution which was both attractive and functional. We succeeded in creating harmony between oriental style and an alpine atmosphere with innovative ideas and the right feel for the particular environment. Jörg Diehl, C+P Project Management

Ski Dubai Optimally coordinated During the planning stages, it was particularly taken into account that visitors to Ski Dubai come from all walks of life and the facility is a unique meeting place for the most diverse nationalities. The compartments in the ladies and men s locker rooms are more generous in terms of size than those in the open locker rooms. Entire compartments provide the option of hanging up the traditional dishdasha, for example. Cambio optimally integrates different com ponents like the display elements on the front, posters, advertisements and safety specifications, all of which are clearly and attractively presented. Special top units simplify the power supply and supply the online locking system with energy and fault-free exchange of data. Cambio is therefore used as a component of the complex invoicing and locking system. The system s control mechanisms are used throughout the entire facility. Access control, payment and use of lockers are carried out using one and the same data carrier. 6 7

Erding Thermal Spa The task The colour and space concept of the owner and investor gives the entire facility an aura of both relaxation and excitement. Even in the locker-room area, the visitor is welcomed into an atmosphere of well-being with unusual colours and materials. The lockers with their ice birch, honey wood decor and their glossy surface were combined with high-quality, stone-panelled sub-frames. The decor (Macubas) and the contours of the changing cubicles form a charming contrast to the design of the lockers themselves. The bow-shaped arrangement produces curved lines that combine with the floating design to give the various elements a special lightness and elegance. The particular requirements In order to support the impression of lightness and transparency, the locker areas are positioned on just a few pillars. Both design variants the floating subframes of the changing cubicles and the high-quality stone bases of the lockers fulfil the high demands of the investor in terms of both easiness to clean and hygiene. The bearing pillars in the space are panelled over and integrated into the blocks. The interior fittings of the lockers were designed to allow two bags to be stored easily in the upper compartment and to help the user make optimal use of the available space. Thanks to its flexibility, the Cambio locker system from C+P satisfies particularly well the high technical requirements that arose from this complex planning. We were particularly impressed with the professional cooperation with the C+P team. They found solutions quickly and easily that satisfied the client Jürgen Hoffmann, Construction Manager, Erding Thermal Spa

Erding Thermal Spa The children s world The colour concept of the children s locker rooms is aligned to the cheerful colours of the Galaxy waterslide paradise. The lockers are arranged as polygons, which allows a clear overview and helps the users to orientate themselves. In total, there are four areas which radiate in bright sunbeam yellow, velvety moss green, intensive Atlantic blue and warm signal red. Here again, the rows of cubicles end harmoniously in a panelled side wall with a round mirror and an integrated hairdrying area. The locker-room cubicles have a special height so that parents, for instance, can keep their children in sight. The material mix of durable steel carcasses and extra-robust HPL decor fronts proves to be a particularly positive combination here again. The properties of the materials complement each other perfectly and there are no limits to the possible colour blends. This guarantees an ideal mix of functionality and stability combined with a consistently harmonious impression 7 7

Tropical Islands The task The corporate philosophy of Tropical Islands is consistently applied to and presented vividly in all areas. The tropical feeling should be retained in the locker-room areas, too. This begins with the exterior design of the locker rooms and is maintained in the exotic colour tones of the lockers, which allude to the colours of tropical flowers. Following the great success of the water park, it was necessary to cater for the increased space requirements. The locker rooms were restructured to create space for more compartments. The arrangement of the barefoot and shoe areas was also optimized. The particular requirements With its versatile Cambio locker system, C+P Möbelsysteme was able to satisfy all the high requirements of Tropical Islands and so also supplied the remaining lockers in 007. Thanks to the adaptability of the lockers, it was possible to carry out the restructuring without any problems. In order to make optimal use of the space, the plan involved double-tier lockers and Z-combination lockers. Make dreams come true. That was the idea of the investors! Bringing the tropics to Germany was both a challenge and a great joy at the same time. The excellent cooperation with the project management and the shared excitement about the project made it possible to carry out this task. The joy of our customers with the result is the greatest reward for me. Frank Rubel, Construction Manager

Tropical ThyssenKrupp Islands Nirosta Well thought through The new-generation lockers subsequently ordered in 007 provide a uniform appearance with a crimson-red carcass and orange fronts. In terms of possible extensions in the future, the lockers were mounted on a removable and upgradeable plinth system. This guarantees the flexibility of the facility. The Z-combination lockers are designed to be as convenient as possible for the users. With the Cambio lockers, every person (left or right compartment) is given the same amount of space and has the option of hanging up long items of clothing. A large compartment for bags and practical dividers for relatively small items help to satisfy the various storage wishes of the different users. The locking system also lives up to sophisticated demands: it not only opens and locks the lockers, but also simplifies the access to the additional-charge zones, the billing for refreshments, etc. This is all achieved with one and the same data carrier, which acts as an electronic key for the locker user. 6 7 7
