SPRING 2015 PRE-ORDER GUIDE
This is our Alden of New England pre-order guide for Spring 2015. In this booklet, you will find the styles we will be bringing to LeatherFoot for our first official season stocking this imfamous shoemaker. Alden is the only remaining original shoemaker from New England. Based in Massachusetts, Alden has been producing properly Goodyear Welted shoes and unique styles for well over 100 years. This season, as it is our first with Alden, we have decided that our collection embody the definition of style that Alden is best known for. We will be stocking Indy boots, loafers and moccasins, and open laced bluchers. A deposit of $150 is required to hold your size, and the balance of the shoes will be charged to your credit card upon delivery to Leather- Foot. Delivery dates are listed with the product info.
THE ORIGINAL WORKBOOT MODEL 403 This is unquestionably the signature model from Alden. The Original Workboot is made on the Trubalance last and the first model we will be stocking is made with Pull-Up Aniline Calf, which is highly weather resistant. This is the classic make-up, and the first of many colour options to come. Last: Trubalance PLAIN TOE BLUCHER MODEL 29331F AND 29336F Designed for comfort and casual wear, these open laced suede shoes are made with single flexible leather outsoles and an unlined vamp. Available in snuff and navy suede. Last: Barrie THE DESERT BOOT MODEL 1494 An American classic, this Desert Boot is unlined and has a single leather flexible outsole for excellent comfort and flexibility. This boot is made on the Leydon last and is a casual staple. Last: Leydon Width: E THE MICHIGAN BOOT MODEL 3560 A special model by Alden, this is a more casual model with a high square vamp and made with a soft dark brown glove leather. Last: Van
FULL STRAP SLIP-ON MODEL 686 Comfortable and humble, this relaxed loafer is classic Alden. Made with a single oak leather outsole, and dark brown calfskin, this trim and well-proportioned shoe sits on the Aberdeen last. CAMP MOCC MODEL H430 This casual model is made with brown Aniline Pull-Up calf leather, making it more weather resistant. A great shoe for a casual weekend outdoors. This shoe is made on flexible leather outsoles. Last: Cape Cod Collection TASSEL MOCCASIN MODEL 662 This is the original tassel moccasin, often copied, but never equalled. It is one of the major signature models by Alden, and this season we are offering it is a burnished tan calfskin with single oak leather outsoles. TASSEL MOCCASIN MODEL 666 A second make-up for us this season, this tassel moccasin is made with mocha kid suede.
NORWEGIAN FRONT BLUCHER WITH HANDSEWN VAMP & TOE SEAM MODEL 968 A variation of the dressy open laced blucher, this style features an elegant handsewn apron, and double oak leather outsoles. This is a new variation for this spring made with dark brown calfskin. Last NORWEGIAN FRONT BLUCHER WITH HANDSEWN VAMP & TOE SEAM MODEL 962 A classic version of the open laced blucher, this style features an elegant handsewn apron. Made with a burnished tan calfskin, this is an elegant choice for the summer months. Last ALDEN WELTERWEIGHT MODEL 946 A clean and all purpose derby, this model is made with brown Alpine Grain calfskin (*pictured in black). This, combined with lightweight microcellular rubber outsoles and heels makes it an ideal all weather model. Last: Barrie Delivery: March 2015 WING TIP BLUCHER MODEL 966 A model that can easily be worn many ways, dress this up or down, and complement the burnished tan calfskin with lighter or darker trousers. This slightly wider offering is welted onto heavy single oak leather outsoles. Width: E
STRAIGHT TIP BLUCHER MODEL 971 Conservative and dressy, we are offering this straight tip blucher in a wide width for our clients who have trouble fitting into standard fitting shoes. Fit and comfort are important, if you are interested in wider models, please email us with special requests. Width: EE
