1. Unifrm Plicy We want students t have a strng sense f identity and f belnging. A smart unifrm helps ur students feel pride fr their academy, and t lk and feel well dressed. Please nte that we cnsider unifrm t invlve general appearance. All students at The Whitehaven Academy are required t wear the full unifrm and students wh fail t d s will be sent hme t change r kept ut f lessns fr the day. Please ensure all items f clthing, especially PE kit are marked with yur child s name n the inside f the garments/shes. This is t ensure items are nt lst. We thank parents and carers fr supprting us in ur unifrm plicy. 2. General dress and appearance All students at The Whitehaven Academy will travel t and frm the academy every day in neat, clean unifrm. Students will wear the academy unifrm at all times n academy premises. Students will wear the academy unifrm when travelling n schl rganised transprt and at lcatins where schl rganised events are being held, unless directed therwise by academy staff. Unifrm jackets may nly be remved during lessns and must be wrn at all ther times, unless directed by academy staff. Cats r jackets may nt be wrn ver the unifrm jacket unless at break times and lunch times, when travelling t and frm schl r as directed by academy staff. The Dress Cde requires students t wear business attire, suitable fr a prfessinal wrking envirnment such as an ffice.
