Invitation from the Directors As course directors for the new world premiere of the AAFPRS-sponsored meeting, Facial Rejuvenation 2016: Master the Techniques, it is our distinct pleasure to invite you to join us for this red-carpet experience! This exciting and newly-formatted meeting will be held at the iconic Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA, from Wednesday, March 16 through Saturday, March 19, 2016. Facial Rejuvenation 2016 will feature a multidisciplinary faculty consisting of leaders in the fields of Facial Plastic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Oculoplastic Surgery, and Dermatology. The program includes a strong focus on advanced rejuvenation techniques, pearls for surgical and nonsurgical facial rejuvenation, avoidance and management of complications as well as two half-days of live surgery. We will also be including a full 10-hour injection program suitable for both physician and non-physician injectors that will include live injection demonstrations of both on-label and off-label techniques. We may even have a few celebrities stop by! We are confident that you will enjoy this multi-specialty learning experience and we look forward to sharing this landmark event with you! Target Audience The course is offered for continuing medical education of medical students, residents, fellows, and practicing physicians (MDs and DOs) in the field of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. The program is for physicians with all levels of experience and covers aesthetic, reconstructive, and congenital issues relevant to this specialty. Accreditation and Credit Designation The Educational and Research Foundation for the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS Foundation) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. The AAFPRS Foundation designates this live activity for up to 32 (and 8.25 CEU/CME for Injectables Course) AMA PRA TM Category 1 Credits. Physicians should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Learning Objectives W Discuss the various techniques in surgical rejuvenation of the brow, including complications and management of complications. W Discuss the various techniques in surgical rejuvenation of the periorbital region, including complications and management of complications. W Discuss the various techniques in nonsurgical rejuvenation of the face and neck, including the use of injectable fillers and neurotoxins. W Discuss complications of injectable fillers in facial rejuvenation and the management of these complications. W Understand the technical details for various surgical facelift and necklift procedures. W Understand the indications for autologous fat grafting and the technical details of harvesting fat and performing autologous fat grafting procedure. W Discuss facelift and necklift complications and the management of these complications. W Discuss ablative and non-ablative treatment options in facial rejuvenation, including laser, ultrasound, and radiofrequency-based technologies. W Assess controversial topics in facial rejuvenation in order to make more informed decisions. Registration You must register on-line on or before Friday, January 29, 2016 in order to qualify for the pre-registration fee. After January 29, 2016, you will be charged the on-site fee. Registration fees for physicians and allied health professionals include a badge, on-site program; attendance to the sessions; entrance to the Exhibit Hall; morning and afternoon breaks, lunches; and daily wine receptions. On-site registration will be held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Spouses and guest fees include a badge; entrance to the sessions and Exhibit Hall; morning and afternoon breaks, lunches; and daily wine receptions. The spouse/guest fee carries no acknowledgement of course attendance. Spouses/guests who do not register for the meeting but wish to attend the daily wine receptions, may purchase a wine reception pass for $175. Cancellation Policy Full refunds less a $125 cancellation fee will be honored before January 29, 2016; after this date, no refunds will be granted.
