Every year, our open heifers sold on the sale are eligible for a futurity show held mid summer at the Ruth farm following the sale. These four heifers come from our Steel Force donor W3 who was a many time winner for us in her showing days with her highest honors being Reserve Champion Simmental at AK-SAR-BEN. We should probably be flushing her more often because her results have been phenomenal. She also has two bulls and a bred heifer in the sale this year as lots 45, 45A & 6 which show her versatility and capability of producing high performing, attractive, and sound offspring. C519 has already kicked off to a great show career with her only time out being named Champion PB Simmental Heifer Calf at the 2015 NE State Fair. I don t know if we have ever had one this good around the farm, this correct, this powerful, and this stylish.
