A bit about us Cranleigh Arts Centre is a thriving creative venue, situated on the High Street, with a full programme of events ranging from side-splitting comedy, live music gigs, international and blockbuster film screening, inspiring theatrical performances, thought-provoking exhibitions and innovative workshops. It is also popular as a venue for hire for meetings, parties and community events. The venue boasts a 300 standing/200 seated capacity multipurpose auditorium, a gallery and coffee bar, licensed bar, studio, function room and pottery all housed in the village s original Victorian school building, sensitively converted into twenty-first century requirements. As a non-profit making community arts centre and registered charity we work hard to cover our costs. With just a small but energetic team of staff, we rely heavily on support from volunteers in our aim to provide a professional and quality service. Your support is important to us A local success story, Cranleigh Arts Centre is one of the few arts venues in the UK that operates without any regular funding, having lost 64% of our funding in the last five years. We are proud to say that Cranleigh Arts Centre earns 85% of its income from ticket sales, room hire, merchandising, licensed bar and coffee bar. Only 15% of our income currently comes from grant making trusts and public funds, whilst many arts centres depend on around 50% of their income coming from regular public funding. Help us continue to offer a good quality arts and workshop programme by visiting the coffee bar whilst browsing our latest exhibition spreading the word about our events and workshops becoming a Friend of Cranleigh Arts Centre and benefiting from advanced booking on all our events taking a moment to fill out event feedback forms and helping us improve our service making a small donation at the box office giving us your time and help as a volunteer.

How do I get there? From Guildford by car: Follow signs for the A281 to Horsham. After passing through Shalford and Bramley, turn left onto the B2128 signposted to Cranleigh. From Guildford by Public Transport: The nearest station is Guildford (Waterloo to Portsmouth line). From Guildford you will need to get a bus to Cranleigh.
