"Our starting point for the collection was the muse. These trailblazing women from past generations who inadvertently inspired and created some of the best and most enduring music to date. What did she wear on the road? What did she wear in the studio? How did she style it all from that one suitcase that had to last 3 months? Laid back silhouettes that ooze sex appeal while still leaving something to the imagination. Tactile fabrics, buzzy fun prints, bold and playful designs that capture the essence of those one-name women; Patti, Anita, Bebe, Marianne. I wanted to take this spirit and create a modern day collection which looks and feels as magnetic as those women who inspired me. Music and the world that surrounds it continues to pervade the ALEXACHUNG brand and this collection is perhaps the most potent iteration of that idea. -Alexa Chung
