BATCH BASKET INSTRUCTION & NAME TAGS The following are pages of Batch Basket Instruction Tags and Name Tags for the laundry baskets, to be used in the LOADS OF LAUNDRY MADE EASY children s laundry system. (Pages 2 and 3 are pre-made tags, with spaces for you to write your own washing and drying instructions. Page 4 is the Name Tags. Pages 5 and 6 are additional pre-made Batch Basket tags with washing and drying instructions already printed on them, if you don t want to write your own. Use any of these tags, or make your own, using these as examples.) Instructions for Batch Basket Instruction Tags: 1. Print off the Batch Basket Instruction Tag pages you wish to use on cardstock. 2. Color the corresponding colors in the appropriate rectangular boxes on the Batch Basket Instruction Tags. (Example: for reds, divide the box into four parts, coloring each section red, burgundy, dark orange or dark pink.) This will enable your children to see the correct colors that go into each basket, making it easier for them to sort. 3. Write your washing, drying and hanging instructions on each tag; make sure you include wash and dry cycles, water temperature, and any extra spins, rinses, etc. (Omit this step if you are using pre-made cards on pages 5 and 6.) 4. Cut the tags out. (One cut down the middle, and then above each batch name.) 5. Laminate the tags so they will be more durable and longer-lasting. 6. Punch two holes in the top of each tag (one on each side of the batch color). Hang on the basket using thin craft wire or safety pins. Instructions for Name Tags: 1. Print off the Name Tag page. 2. Write each child s name on the appropriate day-of-the-week tag. 3. Cut the tags out. (One cut down the middle, and then under each weekday.) 4. Laminate the tags so they will be longer-lasting. 5. Punch two holes in the top of each tag (one on each side of the batch color). Hang on the basket using thin craft wire or safety pins. (The reason the child s name is not put directly onto the Batch Basket Instruction Tag is so the batches can be changed from one child to another (for variety), without having to make new basket tags.)
