TRAIN TO BECOME A PROFESSIONAL COSMETOLOGIST Full-time: Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 3:00pm Part-time: Saturdays 9:00am - 3:00pm Course Fee: $10,000.00 TTD THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ON SCHOOL FEES Registration Fee $200.00 Printed Material $100.00 Student Pin $100. 00 City & Guild Diploma in Hairdressing $1500.00 All School Fees must be paid within five months of the course or before. Fees must be paid on the last Thursday of each month, or last Saturday. Failure to do so will incur in a 20% increase on the remaining balance, or suspension from classes until the same is paid in full.

STUDENT GUIDELINES Student Guidelines: 1. Student policies must always be maintained and strictly adhered to during the school term. 2. Correct uniform should always be worn (black skirt or pants and white shirts. Skirt length should be three to four inches above the knee, or longer). Absolutely no jeans. 3. Students are required to be on time, classes will start promptly at 9am. Punctuality is a form or discipline that prepares you for the work force. 4. In order to be certified your attendance is very important. Attendance Register must be signed upon arrival and when leaving. A minimum of 90% attendance (along with passing ALL assessments) is required in order to become certified. 5. In order to be certified all written, oral and practical assessments must be successfully completed along with minimum attendance. 6. Cleanliness and order at you stations are imperative at all times. 7. Scheduled break times are given, please use this time accordingly. (Chewing gum at any time is strictly prohibited). 8. Mobile calls are not to be accepted during class time. 9. Ensure personal hygiene is always maintained, since you will be in close contact with clients and classmates. 10. You are responsible for you own property. The institute is not responsible for lost items. 11. Keep yourself occupied at all times. This is an institute of learning, and a high level of noise will not be tolerated. 12. Students are not allowed in the salon, unless under supervision. On specified practical days, students are allowed in the salon area. 13. Students are required to bring clients (male and female) for cutting. This must be done before certification can be granted. A minimal service charge will be required by client. THESE RULES ARE TO BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES. IF THEY ARE IN ANY WAY BROKEN, CONSEQUENCES MAY RESULT IN SUSPENSION.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT OF LIFE SKILLS Candidates will be prepared to deal with situations that are associated with real working environments. They will be adequately prepared for this throughout their course duration as they will be assessed on scenarios, role-play and other forms of real-life evaluations. A sample of 10% of students assessments will be taken for Internal Verification for every class or quarterly. If there are any discrepancies or irregularities based on findings, a bigger sample of 50% will be taken and appropriate action to be taken thereafter. CANDIDATE APPEAL POLICY Candidates can appeal their evaluations for any reason. They will initially go to their immediate assessor, and if the matter is not resolved on that level, can go to the Internal Verifier, and if then not resolved, can go to any External verifier. All students should be aware of this procedure at all times.
