Ingestion If swallowed do NOT induce vomiting; seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label or contact the Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 (Aust). Make every effort to prevent vomit from entering the lungs by careful placement the patient. Skin Wash affected areas thoroughly with soap and water. Skin Prolonged contact with the concentrate can cause defatting the skin and may result in dermatitis. Eye May irritate the eyes. Chronic Effects Kidney damage has been noted in laboratory animals that have been fed excessive doses ethylene glycol. Reproductive No such effects have been observed in the absence maternal toxicity. Toxicity Mutagenicity Data indicates no mutagenic effects. Carcinogenicity Data indicates no carcinogenic effects. Other Information The Australian Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI) for fenbutatin oxide for a human is 0.01 mg/kg/day, set for the public for daily, lifetime exposure. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION Known Harmful The product is a marine pollutant for sea transport. Effects on the Environment Other Precautions Do not contaminate dams, waterways or sewers with this product or the containers which have held this product. Acute Toxicity - Fish The following is data for the active ingredient, fenbutatin oxide. Toxic to fish. LC0 (96hr) for rainbow trout is 0.0066 mg/l. LC0 (96hr) for bluegill sunfish is 0.0048 mg/l. Acute Toxicity - LC0 (24hr) for fenbutatin oxide is 0.0-0.08 mg/l. Daphnia Acute Toxicity - Bees: Not toxic to bees. LD0 for fenbutatin oxide is >200 µg/bee. Other Organisms 13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS Product Disposal On site disposal the concentrated product is not acceptable. Ideally, the product should be used for its intended purpose. If there is a need to dispose the product, approach local authorities who hold periodic collections unwanted chemicals (ChemClear ). Container Disposal Do not use this container for any other purpose. Triple rinse containers, add rinsate to the spray tank, then fer the container for recycling/reconditioning, or puncture top, sides and bottom and dispose in landfill in accordance with local regulations. drummuster is the national program for the collection and recycling empty, cleaned, non returnable crop production and on-farm animal health chemical containers. If the label on your container carries the drummuster symbol, triple rinse the container, ring your local Council, and fer the container for collection in the program. If on-site container disposal is necessary, triple rinse empty container with water, add rinsate to the spray tank. Puncture top, sides and bottom, crush and bury in an approved landfill or bury with at least 00 mm soil cover away from pasture and crop areas, water supplies and houses. Empty containers and product should not be burnt. 14.
