EACH ROCK A STAR.. Rock Star Jewelry is made with semi precious gems that are personally hand-selected by Artist Martha E. Driver for their individuality, brilliance, and clarity. Martha travels extensively in a passionate search for the highest quality and best-valued stones, also carefully choosing the finest materials that will intertwine them. When back at home in Seattle, she meticulously hand-strings each stone to create beautiful, high quality jewelry designs that are as individual as those who wear them. Rock Star Jewelry is now available for purchase at boutiques, specialty stores and trunk shows. RSJ also accepts direct custom orders (with a minimum order amount). Martha E. Driver s creativity began to exhibit itself as a young girl growing up in Southern California. She expressed her musical talent by playing the flute. Playing, enjoying and appreciating music, however, didn't satisfy Martha s desire to be creative and she found herself drawn to creating watercolors and oil paintings on canvas. In 1990 Martha met her husband to be and relocated to be with him in Seattle, the city so green, so clean, and so friendly!! As the first true winter in Martha s life approached, she discovered knitting and began to create luxurious, beautiful sweaters & scarves. A few friends and family members were the recipients of Martha's wonderful new expressions of her unique talent and rare ability to visualize the exquisite finished pieces while simply being quietly with the various skeins of yarns. Then, one winter day, Martha chose to take a beading class and soon experienced an overwhelming passion for using her abundant talents to create more breathtakingly beautiful designs in the form of necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Several hundred, one-of-a kind pieces later and after many inquiries for her own handmade jewelry and scarves, Rock Star Jewelry and Accessories was born. Martha's designs can now be found at select boutiques and shops in Seattle and at the Rock Star Jewelry and Accessories website. Martha is convinced that, at last, she has found a way to express her creativity to its fullest and share her passion for art, fashion, color and design. In addition to bringing to life her Rock Star Jewelry and Accessories designs, Martha serves as a board member for www.youthforce.com, a non-profit agency that provides career training for youths from low-income communities. She also volunteers her time for a knitting group she founded that hand makes knitted and crocheted garments for mentally ill children and adults. 3
