Uniform Policy 2017/18 Reviewed: January 2018 Next Review: January 2020
Rationale UNIFORM POLICY This policy sets out the principles that we apply when approaching uniform issues. It has been drawn up in consultation with pupils, staff, parents and Governors, and it should be read alongside the Teaching and Learning policy. Philosophy The wearing of School Uniform is required as an integral part of school discipline as this promotes positive attitudes to learning, high standards and a suitable, business-like image in the eyes of the local community. All pupils are encouraged to take pride in their appearance and their uniform. In order for a school uniform to be successful it must be: 1.
