CAST WARDROBE DRESS CODE REQUIREMENTS Students are representing Xavier and must convey a mature dignified presence at all times. The cast wardrobe dress code is a crucial part of the success of the Fashion Show. If a student fails to adhere to these rules, the student will be prohibited from Fashion Show participation. We appreciate your support and dedication to upholding these standards. WARDROBE SUMMARY: The student participation fee ($60) includes the student s performance outfit and a Tapestry t-shirt. Occasionally personal clothing items are needed to complete an outfit. If so, the intent is to use items students already own and not require the purchase of anything new. All wardrobe items must meet the Dress Code Requirements. Students are responsible for providing the wardrobe items noted below. GIRLS Finale Formal Dress: Solid long dress in a color of the Xavier Plaid. Permitted colors include black, white, grey, gold and any shade of blue. No asymmetrical hems, high low dresses, or a high low with a sheer cover. Length may be mid-calf (tea length) or floor length; Ankle/floor length dresses skirts (dress must not drag on the ground). One shoulder and spaghetti strap dresses are allowed. No strapless, backless or halter dresses; no excessive cleavage; nothing too revealing. No see through or peek a boo fabrics; no sequined ball gowns or dresses. Dean Macrina will review all formal dresses for approval, in strict accordance with the XCP dress code policy. Note, in the event a student feels that the dress code requirements have been met, final approval is at the discretion of Dean Macrina. *** XCP students must bring their finale formal dresses to rehearsal on Sunday, February 22 nd for approval.*** Shoes and Accessories for Formal Dress: No excessively high heels as students must be able to walk the runway swiftly. Flats are acceptable. No boots or flip-flops permitted. Students will either wear bare legs or nude/sheer nylons. No colored tights, nylons or leggings are allowed. Parade of Activities: Students will wear the actual outfit of the club they are representing in the Parade of Activities. If there is not an outfit, the Parade attire will be the Fashion Show Tapestry t-shirt and jeans. Jeans cannot drag on the floor. No holes, rips or fading allowed. Jeans must cover the students bottoms such that under garments are not seen. BOYS Finale Formal Dress: Tuxedos. Rental charges are included in the student participation fee. Students may wear their own tuxedos. Parade of Activities: Fashion Show Tapestry t-shirt and jeans. Jeans cannot drag on the floor. No holes, rips or fading allowed. Jeans must cover the students bottoms, sit at the waist without boxers or briefs showing. 3

More than 40% of Xavier students receive some form of financial assistance. Your generous contribution to Fashion Show will ensure that 100% of the event proceeds go directly to the Xavier Scholarship Fund. Every donation, whether it is $5 or $5,000, will make a difference.
