Girona, 26th August of 2015 First meeting event of Festival de Festivals in the 15 th edition of FITAG in Girona, Catalonia. Participants: Mr. János Regös ( Festival Progress in Papa and Chaiman of the Federation of Hungarian Amateur Theatre & Players, Hungary) Mrs. Béatrice Cellario (Mondial du Théâtre de Monaco, Monaco) Mr. Mohammed Benjeddi (Festival Internacional d Amateurs à Oujda, Morroco) Mr. Josué Cabrera (Festival Internacional de Teatro de Susana Alexander, Mexico) Mrs. Lori Chase (aactworldfest, USA) Mr. José Ramón López Menéndez (Federación Escenamateur, Spain) Mr. Mauro Javier Molina (Corredor Latinoamericano de Argentina, Argentina) Mr. Manuel Antonio Ortiz Ossandón (Corredor Latinoamericano de Chile, Chile) Mr. Raúl Rodríguez Da Silva (Festival Internacional de teatro de Paysandú, Muestra Internacional de Teatro del MERCOSUR Atahualpa del Cioppo y Representante para América Latina a la Universidad Rusa de las Artes teatrales- GITIS de Moscú, Uruguay) Mrs. Eva Latorre (Festival Internacional de Teatro de Elche, Spain) Mr. Dani Sancho Mr.Rafel Nieto (Federació de Grups de Teatre Amateur de les Comarques de Girona) Mrs.Graziella Sureda (Moderator and Coordinator of Festival de Festivales) Mr. Martí Peraferrer (Director of F.I.T.A.G) The first day of the Festival de Festivales the guests introduced themselves. They shared the experiences they lived at the beginning of their career in theatre until the point when they created or started to participate in the entities that form the activities of Amateur Theatre in their countries. The starting point was their life experience that has led them to follow a path of passion and commitment to this art. One example of these experiences comes from a guest that suffered a disease as a child. That caused him a permanent handicap that has become the driving force of his vocation, becoming his own religion. Another example comes from a guest whose passion for the theatre comes from behind the scenes.

Other guests have had the support of their families, and others did not expect theatre to be their dreamed job. All these life experiences could have been an obstacle in their paths; however they have fought for their dreams. We see theatre as a complex phenomenon, because it is not only representing a play or filling the capacity of the theatre but also an art that has a dynamic nature. It offers the possibility of making a social transformation, adapting the audience to an extratheatrical world, where apart from creating the shows we are able to change cultural policies. Theatre is a demanding, wonderful and generous art. It gives you things in advance, but you have to pay it back with discipline, dedication and honest work.

Girona, 27 th August of 2015 The second day, the guests agreed to focus on the creation of a document where they established specific objectives to achieve after the meeting. They did not want the document to be a declaration of principles but a roadmap, a path to go beyond. Maybe, we can meet in one or two years and we can see if these objectives have become a reality. We ask ourselves what is the reason, what do we want to achieve and which direction are we following. Democratization of information is essential, exchange networks should be developed in a better way. Have the ability to offer and share the knowledge each of us has. We wish that young people take part of and promote training workshops. We consider coproductions as a tool of training and exchanging culture. In order to make accessible the information of the festivals in the world, any change in the statutes of the plans of AITA/IATA will be made public. Like this, doors will be opened to cultural exchange. We should not fail to forget the power of theatre on social and individual training of the human being. Education is essential for the development of artistic activities.

Girona, 28 th August of 2015 The third day, those gathered there that day, have put on record the points in which we compromise to a development not only of the artistic, but also the social side of theatre, where we look for quality in amateur theatre and the necessity to a continuous training. Democratisation of information. A special window of the Festival de Festivals will be created to share the logos that identify the signatories of the document. The members of the meeting FITAG 2015 will keep in constant touch. Through these networks we will keep our individual proposes and will make them common. We will share strategies and productions methods, organisation of festivals and recommendation of shows. This document is a compromise for each one of the members, today gathered, to start by the signature of the document a roadmap. The members of the conclave have decided to meet in a maximum period of two years in order to keep these promises alive. The location of the meeting may take place in any home country of the members. This document also represents a formal request to the Diputació de Girona and to FITAG to host a new convocation in 2017. The members of the meeting looking forward to an answer have decided that, even if the attendance is partial, the next meeting of Festival de Festivals will take place in the village of Oujda (Morocco). They have been invited by MR. Mohammed Benjeddi, there will also take place the presentation of his festival under the title of An open window to Theatre of Latin- American and Spanish-speaking countries. This festival will take place from the 12 th to the 18 th of May 2016. Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Escenamateur have committed to participate. In this Festival, it will take place the first co-production emerged from this meeting between Morocco and Mexico. In March 2016 Uruguay, Chile and Argentina will go to the presentation of the 24 th Theatre Festival of Susana Alexander in the city of Puebla (Mexico).

The attendants will present their theatre plays and they will also share their knowledge in Workshops and Seminars, this will be called Ongoing education. In order to optimise the expenses, we will organise a common platform to achieve these objectives. In this document have sign: János Regös (Festival Progress in Papa and Chaiman of the Federation of Hungarian Amateur Theatre & Players, Hungary) Béatrice Cellario (Mondial du Théâtre de Monaco, Monaco) Mohammed Benjeddi (Festival Internacional d Amateurs à Oujda, Morroco) Josué Cabrera (Festival Internacional de Teatro de Susana Alexander, Mexico) Lori Chase (aactworldfest, USA) José Ramón López Menéndez (Federación Escenamateur, Spain) Mauro Javier Molina (Corredor Latinoamericano de Argentina, Argentina) Manuel Antonio Ortiz Ossandón (Corredor Latinoamericano de Chile, Chile)
