Learning Outcome 1 The physical properties of gemstones commonly used in the manufacture of jewellery items. How other jewellery manufacturing processes have an impact on how stones can be set. The learner should also evaluate information on new and emerging technologies that may be applied and critically compare how they may be applied in their working context.
