about us New Direction Clothing was established in 1996 primarily to manufacture workwear and waterproof clothing in the UK. Originally named EP Workwear Ltd, we changed our trading name in 2011 to reflect the growing range of clothing we currently offer. We pride ourselves on our quality, service and technical expertise. Today we import a wide range of different clothing and are one of very few companies still manufacturing from the UK offering a comprehensive service for our customers from design assistance through to finished garments. We are confident that once you see what we can offer in terms of manufacturing capabilities and flexibility, we can begin to build a long term relationship which will further enhance both our businesses. why choose us? Our priority is to make sure we fully understand the requirement and encourage creative input from our customers to make sure we get it right. Our customers can go as far as having bespoke fit patterns produced to compliment the end use of the garment. Basic in house designs are available along with fabric samples before any decisions are made, moving onto design boards if required. We work with an extensive range of fabrics from basic cottons, poly-cottons and polyesters through to technical fabrics such as breathable laminates, high visibility and flame retardant fabrics. Sampling and trial services are available. We offer technical expertise in areas where safety is paramount, holding our own technical files with established UK test houses across a wide range of pre certificated styles. UK produced top up orders and special measure garments are available to compliment our off shore production.

The EN471 Parka was where our UK production began in 1996 giving us many years of experience within this field. We work closely with both our customers and UK accredited test houses to ensure all garments we design and manufacture meet the criteria set out by current legislation.
