When I thought this editorial I knew what I wanted to convey exactly: is the concept of Haute Couture viewed by photographic images. Haute Couture are handmade collections with high quality materials, very accurate details and wonderful visuals. Dream dresses, fabric cared to detail with ultramodern cuts, designs that are considered works of art and costumes that make any woman a true Hollywood star. Haute couture is all a fashion show that elevates to the category of Art. To develop the idea, we located an old Art Decó palace dating from the nineteenth Century which had been restored, keeping the historic nature of the building and blending antiques with minimalism. The perfect scenario where every corner invites us to breathe luxury and glamour. According to my fashion stylist Angie Reyn, we decided that the Venezuelan designer, Archimedes Llorens (arquimedesllorens.com) and the Spanish Haute Couture brand, La Tua Pelle (www.latuapellecostura.com), were the artists who give shape to this editorial with their custom apparel and personal vision of dreams. Exquisite fabrics, beautiful embroideries and designs receding past us to overflowing luxury and glamour. Marvelous dresses, unique pieces that will be shown in the new season, the upcoming holidays, in the light of candles and tropical gardens. Accessories were carefully chosen by pairing with every look, Swarovski, Muss, Agatha Paris and McKenzie embellished with large, exclusive and unique jewelry. Well-dressed from top to feet models with high-heeled jewel sandals signed by Steve Madden and impressive high heels, by Rebeca Sanver. CHFinally I think I ve achieved my purpose and my images reflect accurately what haute couture is.
