in-cosmetics Korea helps extend the Korean wave for years to come Having established itself as the biggest and most high-profile personal care ingredients event in the country, in-cosmetics Korea saw visitors heap praise on the latest edition of the show. In total, 7,015 unique visitors from companies including AmorePacific, Cosmax, Johnson & Johnson, Kolmar, L Oréal, LG Household & Health Care attended the event, seeking out ways to develop novel beauty products that will extend the Korean Wave known to many as hallyu. in-cosmetics Korea was 29% bigger than in 2017, with 272 suppliers in attendance, but also 55 first time exhibitors showcasing their innovations at the event. This year s highlight was the new Formulation Lab with thousands of cosmetic chemists seeking unmissable technical information and practical advice coaching by industry experts. Day 1 of the show was renamed Formulation Day with practical activities and seminars dedicated to the art of formulation complete with in-cosmetics Korea s first ever Formulation Awards. Visitors were also able to attend various free educational sessions split across Technical Seminars, Marketing Trends & Regulations as well as Ingredients Regulations Science & Technology Seminars. in-cosmetics Korea 2019 will take place at COEX in Seoul from 26-28 June 2019. It just connects us so much with the rest of the world. I ve received so much information about new and innovative ingredients as well as natural ones. I also met new suppliers I d never heard of before.
