No rolling backpacks please as they are dangerous on walkways and stairs. Please make sure your child s first and last names are clearly marked on the outside of their backpacks. Full change of clothing (pants, shirt, 2-3 pairs of underwear, socks). Please write your child s first and last names on each item of clothing and place them in a zip lock bag with their name written on the outside of the bag. Please send in pull-ups that have the Velcro closure on the sides to help with changing.

Sneakers/athletic shoes Sneakers/athletic shoes are the best choice for everyday wear, as the children will be out on the playground each day, and participating in P.E. regularly. Velcro shoes are helpful. Shoes with laces are fine for students who can tie their own shoes. NO light up shoes, Crocs or flip-flops.. Long pants, underwear, socks, white T-shirt. 1 st Grade Needed for each student beginning the first day of school: Lunchbox Sneakers/athletic shoes Large backpack that is spacious enough so a first grader can comfortably pack into it a homework folder, several books, handouts, a lunch box, and a light jacket. No rolling backpacks. Lunchboxes that your first grader can easily fit inside or attach to the backpack. Sneakers/athletic shoes are the best choice for everyday wear, as the children will be out on the playground each day, and participating in P.E. regularly. Velcro shoes are helpful.
