All new hires are provided an initial supply of: Managers 4 Polo Shirts Shift Managers 3 Polo Shirts FOH Staff 3 T-shirts BOH Staff 3 T-shirts, 1 hat and 1 apron How many complimentary items are new-hire part-time Team Members allowed? Part time Team Members are allowed, according to their position to: Managers 2 Polo Shirts Shift Managers 2 Polo Shirts FOH Staff 2 T-shirts BOH Staff 2 T-shirts, 1 hat and 1 apron I was re-hired; will I receive a new hire allowance? It is Sharky s policy that you must be gone from the company for longer than 6 months to be eligible for the new hire allowance. If you returned in less than 6 months, you are not eligible for the new hire allowance and will need to purchase your own apparel. What happen on my anniversary working at Sharky s? In each anniversary Sharky s will provide you a new set of uniforms as you had been hired again. May I wear Sharky s apparel outside the branch for everyday purposes? Sharky s apparel is for business purposes only, and is not intended to replace your everyday, regular clothes. However, it s OK if you re wearing it while running errands right before or after work. "While wearing Sharky's apparel outside of work, you are expected to conduct yourself an appropriate manner, as you will appear to others to be a representative of Sharky's." Can Sharky s Apparel be donated? Sharky s Apparel may not be donated or resold. Apparel that is gently worn may be dry cleaned and distributed to others in the District or Market if necessary. If apparel is worn or damaged, the items must be destroyed by cutting out the Sharky s logo or marking it out with permanent ink. FOH Team Uniform Policy. HAIR For women hair should be placed into a bun or hair clip, behind the ears and over the neck, and for guys trimmed neatly, above the collar and off the neck. For all Team Members hair should be in a natural shade and should not be radically styled. MAKE UP Discrete and natural. T-SHIRT Clean and wrinkle free Sharky s shirt should be untucked and no more than 8 longer than your belt. You should be able to raise your arms with out exposing your skin. NAME BADGE On the left side of shirt just bellow collar, centered above the chest. BLACK BELT Leather, canvas or vinyl. Ensure your jeans are on your waist and do not hang any lower. FINGER NAILS Clean & trimmed. For women: clear or nude polish and may not exceed ¼ above the finger. JEWELRY One ring on each hand, no and no more than two earrings in each earring must be studs or small hoop only- no larger than a dime. Beside the jewelry mentioned before no other pierced jewelry is acceptable. SHOES Non-skid black. Shoes for Crews are available through each restaurant or you may choose another vendor.
