Make sure there is a new filter in the filter canister and the canister is securely closed. For safe application, first time users should begin treatments with the fine tip and the lowest vacuum suction settings. A treatment should not hurt or be uncomfortable. Keep the diamond tip flush with the surface of the skin to ensure proper suction. The skin must be held tight during the treatment. Gently hold the skin while pulling the diamond tip in the opposite direction. Limit the number of strokes over the same part of the skin to 1-2 passes until your skin becomes used to the treatments. Each treatment to the face should take approximately 6 10 minutes. Never use in the shower or bathtub. It is NOT waterproof or designed to be used with liquids and creams. 4 5

In some cases, the filter may need to be changed more than once during a treatment in order to ensure proper vacuum pressure. If the filter becomes full of debris, the vacuum may overload and cause a malfunction. The filter canister must be closed completely to ensure proper vacuum pressure. Do not use your Riiviva Microderm without a filter and filter canister securely in place. Charging your Riiviva Microderm Charge your Riiviva Microderm for 8 hours between use. Your Riiviva Microderm is rechargeable. During charging, the LED lights located on the POWER BUTTON indicate the amount of charge. 8 Power / Vacuum Setting Control The vacuum setting determines the amount of pressure between the skin and the diamond tip. Keep the diamond tip flush with your skin to ensure proper suction. Never use suction close to the eye area. OFF No vacuum. Used when storing, or when treating very sensitive areas of the skin. LOW Low suction for first time users, for the face, and sensitive areas. MED Medium suction for experienced users and less sensitive areas of the skin HIGH High suction for experienced users and non-sensitive areas of the body. 10 To Use Face, Neck, and Chest Treatment 1. Prior to the first use charge your Riiviva Microderm for 24 hours 2. Use Riiviva Cleansing Gel to clean the skin of all oil,makeup, and dirt. Dry it throughly 3. Using the opposite end of your tweezers, twist and remove filter canister. Insert filter, taking care to align it so that it sits evenly on the tray at the bottom of the canister. Replace canister. DO NOT USE WITHOUT A FILTER. 4. Select the appropriate diamond tip and attach it to your Riiviva Microderm. 5. Push the POWER button to begin treatment on the lowest suction level. The LED lights indicate levels LOW, MEDIUM, & HIGH. 6. Treat small sections at a time using the appropriate tip: Forehead, Temples, Upper Cheek, Lower Cheek, Upper Lip, Jaw line, Chin, Nose, Eyes, Neck, Chest (see Figure 1). Nose, Eyes, Neck, Décolleté. 7. Hold the skin tight with one hand, and gently glide the diamond tip away from that hand. There is no need to press hard on the skins surface. Keep the diamond tip flush with the surface of the skin to ensure proper suction. Begin your first treatments with a low suction and a fine diamond tip Limit the number of strokes over the same part of the skin to 1-2 passes until your skin becomes used to the treatment. Do not hold the diamond tip in one spot while saction is on. 8. After you have finished your Microderm treatment, turn off the POWER button. Remove the filter canister and carefully discard your used filter. Insert a new filter and replace the canister. 9. Remove and clean the diamond tips, following the recommended CLEANING directions. 10. Store your Riiviva Microderm in its display stand, or plug it in to charge for your next treatment. Figure 1 11

Post Treatment Care To boost the skin natural healing: Apply Riiviva s highly effective Repair Serum directly after treatment, and in the morning and at night for best results Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 days, and apply sunscreen daily Redness of the skin is normal and will fade after your treatment. If redness or irritation persists, lower the suction settings and a fine diamond tip. 14 Caring for your Riiviva Microderm and Accessories To keep your Riiviva Microderm in optimal condition and to maintain the warrantee, care for it as follows: DO NOT immerse in water or any form of liquid DO NOT use with any liquids or creams DO NOT drop your diamond tips or rub them together Never attempt to open your device for any reason Cleaning your Device & Stand IMPORTANT: Unplug your device and then wipe down with a soft damp cloth when necessary. Filter Canister IMPORTANT: Never use your device without a filter in place. The filter canister is a replaceable part. It is recommended that the canister be replaced if it becomes loose, cracked, or damaged in any way. If the canister is not properly in place poor vacuum suction will occur. If needed, wipe the canister with a damp cloth. Allow to completely dry before replacing. Charger IMPORTANT: Unplug the charger, then wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the charger in water. Infrequency of Use If your Riiviva Microderm is not being used frequently, charge it every 2 months to maintain its charging capability. 15

Soak your tip in warm soapy water for 5 minutes to loosen debris. Using a brush and disinfectant soap to scrub debris from the diamond tip. Rinse and wipe dry. In the case of professional or multi-person use, high levels of disinfecting are the minimum process requirement between each use. Scrub the tip thoroughly and follow the label directions of a disinfectant solution, (soaking beyond the recommended times can damage the tips) or use steam sterilization. Rinse and wipe dry. DO NOT SHARE YOUR DIAMOND TIP WITH OTHERS WITHOUT PROPER CLEANING. Dropping your diamond tip, or rubbing them together can cause chipping and damage.
