SUBLI POCKET TEE Pocket Tees are a hugely popular style in fashion retail at the moment so we created one that s ready to print off-the-peg. The pocket is 100% polyester, which makes it perfect for sublimation or mixed media designs whilst the printable back neck yoke allows you to add value by repeating the pocket design or adding your brand identity. It s just as easy to print as our other styles too! Simply mask the area around the pocket and rear yoke using Vanilla application tape (product code VANAT15) before applying your sublimation transfers as normal. Don t panic if you get overprint onto the main body of the T shirt as it s made from cotton, which is not receptive to sublimation ink. Any residual overprint will come out with the first wash, leaving a crisp and defined printed pocket or yoke. FOR THE PERFECT PRINT... general GUIDELINES You can print Vanilla garments using any number of decoration techniques including transfer film, laser, DTG or mixed media designs. For maximum visual impact though, we recommend using sublimation. Here s our guide to getting the perfect sublimation print every time PRE-PRESS BEFORE pressing any garment you should always optimise the printing surface by going over it with a lint roller to remove any dust particles. PRESSING 100% polyester 200 0 C 50 seconds light/medium 65/35 polyester cotton 180 0 C 90 seconds light/medium Sublimating onto polyester/cotton will give a more muted result than with 100% polyester. This works particularly well for vintage designs and for music merchandise. REMEMBER! For best results you should ALWAYS use premium quality sublimation ink and paper. Also ensure your heat press is giving even pressure and temperature right across the platen. We always recommend Xpres sublimation hardware, inks and papers. Because there are so many variables in creating a sublimation transfer, these are general guidelines only. ALWAYS TRY A TEST PRINT FIRST!
