Since then it has grown into the largest independent jewellery training centre in the UK and we now run 100s of regular classes throughout the year including evening, weekend and midweek courses for adults. We also run very popular jewellery parties for both adults and children and work closely with the local councils to deliver jewellery classes in schools and libraries in and around London. With over 20 world-class tutors and more than 70 different classes to choose from there is something at the school for everyone! We welcome all ages and abilities and pride ourselves in creating a friendly and professional atmosphere in which to learn. All our classes are run from our studio in London s Hatton Garden. helpful information We sell jewellery-making supplies too! From beading and wire to semi-precious stones and metal clay, we have something for everyone. Private Tuition Can t make one of our scheduled classes? Want to make a specific piece of jewellery? Need one-on-one tuition? Then our private tuition sessions may be for you. The cost is 50 (exc. VAT) per hour plus materials or 250 (exc. VAT) per day plus materials. Please do contact us for full details and to book. Gift Vouchers Treat someone you love to the very special gift of jewellery making. It s fun, relaxing and you will never need to buy them jewellery again! Our gift vouchers are sent out within 2 days by first class Royal Mail in a lovely gift envelope along with our full school brochure for them to flick through and choose their ideal class. Use our Studios If you don t have enough room at home or don t have all the tools and resources to make your jewellery why not come and use our studio? From silver, glass and metal clay to resin and beading, you can use the space for almost anything you like for just 30 per day. Please check with us that we have the tools you need and bring along your own consumables (e.g. beads, silver, glass etc ) and make yourself at home. Kiln Rental You can use our kilns for firing metal clay and glass. If you have made some pieces and would like us to kiln fire them for you then simply drop them in to the studio and arrange a time to pick them up. Throughout the day you will learn how to turn these drawings into stamps, which are then used in metal clay to make solid silver pieces of jewellery. This course is certified by the London Jewellery School. You will need to reach a certain level in order to pass and the tutors will outline the criteria. It is a comprehensive course for anyone who wants to pursue a career in jewellery or related industries and would like experience in a wide range of areas of professional jewellery making. This is a structured course that is certified by the London Jewellery School and your progress and work will be marked against criteria. Entry Requirements: There are no specific entry requirements for this course as it starts from beginners and works up to advanced. However this is an intense and demanding course so you will need plenty of enthusiasm, determination and be prepared to work hard to succeed.
