Ascolite is the unique button security system worldwide since 1972. The Ascolite system consists of the highly elastic and heat-sealable Ascolite TF-yarn and the Ascolite BSS wrapping machines, developed in Switzerland specially for button-shank wrapping. ASCOLITE BSS WRAPPING MACHINES SWISS ENGINEERING MADE IN EUROPE ASCOLITE TF-YARN SWISS MADE We can offer you two types: The semiautomatic Mark 8 and the fully automatic Mark 13. The semiautomatic Mk8 is very suitable for smaller productions; the fully automatic Mark 13 with its new integrated thread tensioner is highly suitable for high performance productions, thanks to its extremely short wrapping time of less than 1 second. Ascolite TF (TF = thermofusion) yarn is specially designed for button shank wrapping with securing effect. Its unique elastomeric gripping force and the heat sealing are the keys to button loss prevention as our yarn permanently squeezes the attaching threads and holds them fast. The button is properly secured. The slim and tail-free button shank has a clean finish and lets the button holes close without bulging.

BSS Mk13 button shank wrapping machine NEW GENERATION 2014 5000 Button shanks per cone Mk13 wraps and secures any type of sewn button at high speed and with constant precision. The 360 bonding from all sides guarantees the highest possible button security. The economical consumption of TF-yarn and the electronic controlled process make Mk13 ideally suited for all large volume producers. Mk13 has 3 presetable programs, enabling fast switching between different button shank types, including special setting for long shanks and blazer type buttons.

Wraps the button shank of all kinds of garments such as men s-, ladies-, outerwear and uniforms. The Mk8 has a convenient control display and a built in seal control system. The heating fork is positioned upside down to make bonding much easier. Optical and sonical indicators signal the optimal seal time.
